DIVISIONS

Scholastic: Age 12 to high school juniors. Athletes must be under the age of 19 as of July 12, 2008.

Open: Seniors in high school (2007-2008) or age 19 and older as of July 14, 2007.

Novice: Age 12 and older, limited experience. Any athlete who is a member of a high school varsity diving team, a college diving team or has won a medal in Novice diving in a previous Bay State Summer Games competition is NOT eligible for the Novice division. Athletes in violation of this rule will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY

All athletes must meet one of the requirements listed above in the Divisions section

REQUIREMENTS

Boys Scholastic: 1M-Five (5) Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.0) and Five (5) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Girls Scholastic: 1M-Five (5) Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.0) and Four (4) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Men's Open: 1M-Five (5) Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.5) and Six (6) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Women's Open: 1M-Five (5) Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.5) and Five (5) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Open & Scholastic: 3M-Five (5)-Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.5) and Five (5) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Novice: 1M-Two (2) Required Dives (D.D. limit of 9.5) and Five (5) Optional Dives (no D.D. limit)

Four (4) Optional Dives from 3-of-5 groups (Forward, Back, Inward, Reverse, Twist)

No more than two (2) dives from each group. Dives may be completed in any order

DI01: One Meter (All divisions)
DI02: Three Meters (Open and Scholastic divisions only)
