2009 Bay State Winter Games

The 2009 Winter Games will be held February 6-8 in Northern Berkshire County!

Confirmed sports information, application forms and a link to online registration for the 2009 Winter Games will be posted on this Web site in mid-late October, 2008.

Many thanks to the athletes and their families who participated in the 2008 Bay State Winter Games held February 1-3, 2008, in the Northern Berkshire region of Massachusetts. We would like to thank all of the volunteers and officials who worked all of the events, as well as Williams College, the North Adams Skating Rink and Bousquet Ski Area in Pittsfield for hosting the competitions. Special thanks as well to our major sponsors including New Balance, SBLI, Verizon, the Boston Herald and Greylock Federal Credit Union. We would also like to thank the many local businesses in Northern Berkshire County who donated goods or services to help ensure a successful event. The Bay State Summer and Winter Games are organized annually by the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation. The Bay State Summer and Winter Games are an Olympic-style sports festival that allows participants to not only have a great experience in their sport, but to take in all the other competitions that the Games offer. The Bay State Winter Games celebrated its 23rd anniversary in 2008. With more than 700 participants in figure skating, alpine skiing and ice hockey, the Winter Games remain a popular competition for athletes of all ages from across the state!
