COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS |
- The tournament will be played on artificial turf.

DIVISIONS |
|
Female Scholastic: Age 12 to 11th grade in high school as of the 2009-10 academic year. Athletes must be under age 19.
Female Collegiate: Seniors in high school as of the 2009-10 academic year or age 19 and older including an athletes junior year in college. Athletes who are seniors in college as of the 2009-10 academic year are not eligible.
Women’s Open: Seniors in college as of the 2009-10 academic year or age 22 and older.
Men’s Open: Age 15 and older.

ELIGIBILITY |
To qualify for a region, an athlete must be one of the following:
- A full-time resident within the region for 30 days prior to first day of tryouts.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in the region. |

RULES |
- Athletes may move up one division, they may not move down.
- There are NO MIXED GENDER TEAMS. Athletes may only participate in one division and on only ONE team.
- Goggles are recommended but, not required.
- Each team must have a minimum of six (6) and a maximum of ten (10) players (5 players, 1 goalie, 4 subs). Each team may have one coach.
- Goalies must wear a helmet in all divisions. |

FORMAT |
NO QUALIFIERS. Each division is divided into pools. Teams play round robin in their pool for a minimum of three games (3) 25 minute games. In each division, pool winners advance to the Championship round. All athletes enter as a TEAM. MASF reserves right to adjust format based upon the number of teams entered. |

$300 per team

AWARDS |
- All participants receive a Bay State Games T-shirt.

Medals are awarded to the top three teams in each division.
- Award jackets are presented to the gold medal team in each division. |

| REGISTRATION |
**REGISTRATION WILL OPEN APRIL 1, 2010** |
To reserve a spot in the tournament, register online or fill out the form below and mail to the Bay State Games office with a $300 entry fee. Applications received after a division is filled will be returned with a full refund. Make checks payable to the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation (MASF). Within 10 days, team captains will receive a confirmation letter and additional tournament information. |
