The 2010 Bowling competition has been canceled. Following the Summer Games, the BSG staff will revisit with organizers to make all the necessary changes to the event in an attempt to make it more viable in the future. If you’d like to be a part of the process, please contact the Bay State Games after August 1.

 
DIVISIONS

Midgets: Age 8-10               
Juniors: Age 11-14
Seniors: Age 15 and older through grade 12 as of 2009-10 academic year.
All ages are as of June 18, 2010. Males and Females will compete separately.

 
ELIGIBILITY
To qualify, a participant must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- A full-time resident at least 30 days prior to qualifier.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in the Massachusetts.
- A current league bowler at a Massachusetts Bowling Center.
 
EVENT
Single Event only tournament

                              

RULES
- Bowlers may only bowl in their own age group.
- International Candlepin Bowling Association (ICBA) rules will be used during competition.
- There are no substitutions allowed in Singles event.
- In the event of a  questionable incident not covered by the ICBA rules, the Tournament Director will decide the matter.
 
AWARDS
All competitors will receive a Bay State Games T-shirt. At the finals, the top three scoring bowlers, by division and gender, will receive the appropriate Gold, Silver and Bronze Bay State Games medal. Each Gold medal winner will be presented with a Bay State Games award jacket.

Finalist Fee  $25
