DIVISIONS |
Junior: Age 8–13
Scholastic: Age 14–24
Masters: Age 25 and older
- Ages are determined by USSS Inc. rules (2010 Birthyear = USSS Inc. age).
- Athletes must be 8 years of age as of July 1, 2010. Figures are optional.
- There are three (3) divisions for routines and figures.

ELIGIBILITY |
To qualify for a region, an athlete must be ONE of the following:
- A full-time resident within the region for 30 days prior to first day of tryouts.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in the region.
- A registered member of a synchronized swimming club in Massachusetts, for which you are entering. The club must be your exclusive “contact” with the sports. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not be a member of a non Massachusetts club.

| *Schedule subject to change based on number of entries. Athletes must be ready and on deck 30 minutes before time listed. Music must be registered at sound table prior to warm-up time for the routine group. |

RULES |
- The meet is a NESSA sanctioned event. Competition will follow 2010 USSSI rules with the following exceptions. USSS Inc. membership is not required to participate, unattached swimmers may enter.

Each club may enter a maximum of seven (7) routines per age division with no more then two (2) teams and three (3) trios in each. Each swimmer may enter up to three (3) routines as well as figures. Age of oldest competitor in a routine determines age division for each routine.

Finals fee: $30 |

AWARDS |
- All participants receive an official Bay State Summer Games T-shirt.

Medals are awarded to the top three in each division.
- Award jackets are presented to the gold medal winners in each division. |

Deck time: 10 seconds maximum
Solo: 3 minutes

Duet/Trio: 3.5 minutes
Team: 4 minutes |

FIGURES |
- Figures are OPTIONAL. Swimmers may compete in more than one figure category.
Figure Categories are as follows: Novice, Intermediate, Age Group, Junior, Sr. Tech Elements (see Collegiate A figures), Masters.
- Figure Draw Lists will be those used for 2010 Association competitions. |

ENTRY DEADLINE |
- Entries must be received by June 30, 2010. Mail Bay State Games entry forms and the $30 fee to Bay State Games, 55 Sixth Rd, Woburn, MA 01801.
- All Synchronized Swimming specific Entry Forms should be e-mailed to Patty Flanagan, pflanagan@ywcaworcester.org.
