COMPETITION FEATURES |
- Open to competitors in bordering states without a recognized state games table tennis competition which includes Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode
Island and Vermont.
- All entrants are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches per singles division.
- All athletes receive an official 2011 Bay State Summer Games T-shirt.
- Medals are awarded to the top three in each singles and each doubles division.
- Bay State Games jackets from New Balance are awarded to medal winners in the singles divisions. Athletes who medal in more than one division receive only one jacket. |

ELIGIBILITY |
An athlete must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- A full-time resident of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont or Rhode Island for 30 days prior to first day of event.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in Massachusetts.
- A registered member of a table tennis club in Massachusetts, for which you are entering. The club must be your exclusive “contact” with the sports. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not be a member of a non Massachusetts club. |

- All events are co-ed. |

NOVICE RULES |
To be eligible for the novice divisions, players must either have no USATT (www.usatt.org) or Ratings Central (www.ratingscentral.com) ratings or their USATT and Ratings Central ratings must both be less than 800 for the Novice Age 8-18 or less than 1,000 for the Novice Age 19 and Older. |

DOUBLES RULES |
Doubles events will be held at the competition if there is time (depending on the number of entries).
Athletes cannot participate in doubles events unless they have entered the competition in a singles event.
Doubles entries will be coordinated at the competition.

10am: Age 8-18, Novice 8-18
12pm: Age 19-39, Novice 19 and older
2pm: Open
4pm: Age 40-59, Age 60 and older
Athletes must arrive by the starting times of their events. Events may run past the starting time of the next event. Athletes must be prepared to stay as long as neccesary. |

ENTRY FEE |
Entry fee: $30 |

ENTRY DEADLINE |
The deadline is July 13 at 11:59pm EDT. After the July 13 deadline, athletes who wish to sign up on the day of the event will be charged a $10 late fee in addition to the $30 entry fee. |
