Athletes may enter either or both events

Format

The match will be an OPEN match for adults & juniors. The match is a combined match of air rifle and small bore rifle. Awards will be given out for both air rifle and small bore rifles but the events will be run as one match. Participants do not have to enter both events.

Awards

In both divisions and both events, the appropriate Bay State Games Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal along with a Bay State Games award item, will be distributed to the top three finishers.

Small Bore Regulations

  • 60 Shots - USA 50 Targets or orion scan targets.
  • 2 minute warning for prep to begin
  • 3 min. prep (kneeling)
  • 30 minutes, un,limited sighters and 20 record shots, claocks will stop when all firing is complete
  • 5 minute change over period, once allo targets are changed out for next phase
  • 2 minute warning
  • 3 minute prep (prone)
  • 20 minutes unlimited sighters and 20 record shots, clock will stop when all firing is complete
  • 5 minute change over, once all targets are chaned over to the next phase

Air Rifle Regulations

  • 40 shots - Orion Scan Targets
  • 2 minute warning
  • 3 minute prep
  • 1 hour and 25 minutes of block time
  • Unlimited sighters and 20 record shots
  • 2 sets of targets will be used.

Relay Times

  • Relay 1 - 8am Small Bore
  • Relay 2 - 10:30am Air Rifle
  • Relay 3 - 12:30pm Small Bore
  • Relay 4 - 3pm Air Rifle

Rules

  • NRA small-bore and air rifle scoring rules will apply
  • This is not a NRA registered match
  • NRA memebrship is not required to participate
