Entry Fee 




10 meter Air Rifle, – Open to Junior, Scholastic & Open. All will be required to fire a 60 shot course of fire. All firing will be done on Sius Electronic Targeting Systems. A 15 minute sighter and preparation period will be given followed by the 60 shot match in a 75 minute time frame.


An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A full time resident of Massachusetts.
  • A full time student of a Massachusetts academic institution.
  • A member of a shooting club in Massachusetts. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not also be a member of a non Massachusetts club. 
  • Athletes who are permanent Massachusetts residents and attend school out of state are eligible to compete.
  • A resident of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.


Age Divisions

Junior - Age 10-14

Scholastic - Age 15-19

Open – Age 20+

  • All ages are as of December 31, 2017


Relays: Each relay will be limited to 8 competitors only and are as follows:

Relay 1:           8:45 am – 9:00 am                   Sighter and preparation time begins

                        9:00 am – 10:15 am                 Match firing


Relay 2:           10:45 am – 11:00 am               Sighter and preparation time begins

                        11:00 am – 12:15 am               Match firing


Relay 3:           12:45 pm – 1:00 pm                Sighter and preparation time begins

                        1:00 pm –   2:15 pm                Match firing


Relay 4:           2:45 pm –  3:00 pm                 Sighter and preparation time begins

                        3:00 pm –   4:15 pm                Match firing


Relay 5:           4:45 pm –  5:00 pm                 Sighter and preparation time begins

                        5:00 pm –   6:15 pm                Match firing

You must sign up for these matches and pay the fee with the Bay State Games website. Please sign up with Manny Snyderman with respect to which relay you want. There will be a sixth relay at 6:45 pm if required based on the number of people who have registered with the Bay State Games. All of the previous 5 relays must be completely filled with registrations before the 6th relay will be considered. The 6th relay must have at least 4 competitors registered to be run. Shooters will be participating in three divisions: Open and Junior, Scholastic, and Open.


All participants receive a Bay State Summer Games T Shirt. 

Medals and prizes will be presented as follows:

  • Gold, Silver, and Bronze Championship Medals for overall match top three athletes.
  • Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for each age division.
  • Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals for each participating state provided there are at least 6 athletes from each state participating.?


  • NRA air rifle scoring rules will apply
  • This is not a NRA registered match
  • NRA memebrship is not required to participate
