Spencer Bagtaz

Wilmington High School '25

Spencer Bagtaz is 16 years old and is a junior at Wilmington High School. He participates on his school’s cross country, swimming, and spring track and field teams with his main sport being swimming. Spencer has competed in the Bay State Games Swimming competitions for the past two years and won bronze in the Boys 15-18 100 yard Backstroke. Outside of school Spencer loves to participate in helping out his town anywhere and anyway he can. 

Donnelle Balunos

King Phillip High School '27

Donnelle Balunos is from Norfolk. She is a freshman at King Philip Regional High School where she plays on the D1 varsity high school soccer team. She is a member of KPHS DECA and one of the KP Student Athletes who recently volunteered to help TOPSoccer. Donnelle joined the Scorpions Soccer Club when she was 8 years old. She loves playing soccer and she is now on her 3rd year playing for the Scorpions 09 ECNL National team where she received Coaches Award in 2021. Donnelle played soccer for the Southeast team, helping the team to a silver medal in the 2023 Girls Soccer Showcase. In the future, she intends to pursue a career in business communication. A fun fact about Donnelle is she also competed and was a medalist in the 2016 Massachusetts Gymnastic Team Championships.

Evan Bedard

Peabody Veterans Memorial High School '25

Evan Bedard is from Peabody, MA. He is a junior at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, where he competes in track. Evan plans on studying health sciences in college but is still undecided. 

Giacomo Berardinelli

Burlington High School '26

Giacomo Berardinelli is from Burlington, Massachusetts and is a 3-sport varsity athlete in golf, ice hockey and baseball at Burlington High School. Giacomo played in the Boys Lacrosse Showcase in 8th grade and has also competed in BSG Track & Field. Notably, he came in second in the turbojav in two different summers. He skate for the East Coast Wizards for club hockey and for baseball, he is am a member of the Middlesex Reds. When he is not playing sports, he likes to hang out with friends. He will graduate from Burlington High School in 2026 and would like to continue to play sports at the highest level possible. A fun fact about Giacomo is he has tried McDonalds in 5 countries! 

Brooke Blahut

North Quincy High School '26

Brooke Blahut is a sophomore at North Quincy High School and plays on the Varsity Girls soccer team. In addition to soccer, Brooke is also a competitive figure skater and competes year-round in both individual and synchronized skating events. Brooke’s love for sports began at an early age. She began playing soccer at age 5 in the Quincy Youth Soccer U6 program and can be seen (and heard) on the soccer field 4-5 days a week. Over the past 10 years, she has played for QYS in-house programs, QYS Travel and the American FC Bolts Club team. Brooke has also volunteered for the past 5 years as a coach for the QYS U6 First Kicks program. When not on the soccer field, you will likely find Brooke at the Rockland Rink, where she skates 4 days a week for Winterland Skating School and is a member of the South Shore Skating Club. Brooke followed her sister’s love for the ice and began figure skating at age 2. Brooke’s first Bay State Games competition was in 2016 at age 8 and she has competed every year since then, most recently in the Novice Ladies Free Skate event at the 2023 Bay State Games Figure Skating Competition.

Elle Blahut

North Quincy High School '24

Elle Blahut is from Quincy, MA. She is a senior at North Quincy High School and a three-year member of the National Honor Society. Elle began skating at age 2 and for the past fifteen years, she has skated and competed for Winterland Skating School and the South Shore Skating Club. In November of 2022, Elle became a U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist. She has been participating in the Bay State Games since she was 9 (2016) and most recently competed in the Junior Ladies Free Skate Event at the 2023 Bay State Games Figure Skating Competition. In addition to competing, Elle also loves teaching learn to skate and coaching younger skaters and is an ISI Bronze certified coach and judge. Elle also has a passion for Volleyball and is the Captain and Setter for the North Quincy High School Girls Varsity Volleyball team and she plays club ball for MGA. 

Ryan Bowdridge

Malden High School '27

Ryan Bowdridge is from Malden and is a member of the class of 2027 at Malden High School. Ryan plays baseball, football, and basketball at Malden High. Last summer, Ryan played on the Metro team in the 2023 Baseball Showcase. When Ryan is not playing, he works for the Malden Recreation Department helps out with Malden youth baseball as a volunteer coach. After graduating, Ryan hopes to play Division I Baseball and study sports medicine. A fun fact about Ryan is that he is a 4-time class of '27 baseball youth MVP.

Makenzie Casey

Quabbin Regional High School '27

Makenzie Casey is from Hubbardston and is a freshmen at Quabbin Regional High School. She plays on the varsity field hockey and golf teams. Makenzie played on the Central team in the 2023 Field Hockey Showcase, helping the team to a silver medal. A fun fact about Makenzie is that she has been on the varsity field hockey team since she was in 7th grade!

Peyton Chelmo

East Bridgewater Jr/Sr High School '26

Payton Chelmo is a sophomore at East Bridgewater Jr/Sr High School. She is a figure skater at South Shore Skating Club and participated in Bay State Games for figure skating in 2016 and in 2019. Peyton also runs track and is part of the student council, environmental club, and key club at her school.

Cindy Chen

Acton Boxborough Regional High School '26

Cindy Chen is originally from Ontario, Canada and is currently a sophomore at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She is a co-chair and coach at the badminton club at ABRHS and plays badminton competitively. Cindy has won 7 medals from Bay State Games tournaments—4 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze. She has been invited to play at the national championships junior tournament in San Diego, California. When she grows up, Cindy wants to be a software developer like her brother. A fun fact about Cindy is that she used to be a singer and sang at many performances in Canada.

Danny Coady

Bishop Feehan High School '24

Danny Coady is from North Attleboro. He is currently a senior at Bishop Feehan High School and plays lacrosse, basketball, and soccer. He has participated in the 2021 Boys Lacrosse Showcase and won a silver medal as a member of the Southeast/Coastal team. He participates in student council at his school and likes to ski, golf, and play video games in his free time. In the future Danny hopes to attend college playing lacrosse and in a business program. A fun fact about Danny is that he is the youngest of 6 kids. 

Lilly Cook

BMC Durfee High School '25

Lilly Cook is a junior at Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. She plays field hockey and track and field. Lilly started participating in the Bay State Games going into her freshman year of high school in the Girls Ice Hockey Showcase and came in first for Coastal! For the past two years, she has played on the Coastal field hockey team and came in first both years. Lilly's goal is to receive a great education while playing field hockey at the collegiate level. A fun fact about Lilly is that while she is not on the field, you can find her working in a pottery studio making ceramic fish. 

Maddie Dempsey

Nashoba Regional High School '27

Maddie Dempsey is from Clinton and is a freshman at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, where she is a member of the varsity soccer team. In addition to playing for Nashoba, she plays in the ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) with her club team, FC Stars White 2009. Maddie first participated in the Bay State Games as a member of the Central team in the 2023 Girls Soccer Showcase. A student in the Nashoba class of 2027, she hopes to play soccer and study sports marketing in college. One fun fact about Maddie is that she loves to travel.

Lily DeSimone

Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School '24

Lily DeSimone lives in Marlborough and attends Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School. Lily competes in figure skating. She first competed in Bay State Games Figure Skating in 2019 and was placed in the top three for one of her programs. Throughout the years she has skated many times at Bay State Games and plan to again in 2024. In her sophomore year, she was a member of the Drama Club. In the future, she hopes to attend college for graphic design, photography and early childhood education. Lily also plans to continue her figure skating career by becoming a figure skating coach, and continuing to compete. One fun fact about Lily is that she loves to draw.

Jenna DiRamio

Whitman-Hanson Regional High School '25

Jenna DiRamio is a junior at Whitman- Hanson Regional High School. At school, she is a member of the national Honor society and a peer mentor. Jenna has been figure skating competitively as an individual and on a team out of Winterland Skating School in Rockland for 11 years and competing twice at Bay State Games. To continue her love for the sport, Jenna also began coaching younger skaters in 2021 and recently received a bronze level coaching certification. Jenna is interested in pursuing a career in health sciences so she is currently searching for colleges that offer that plus a skating team. A fun fact about Jenna is that although I am a brunette, she also has a stripe of blond hair that less than 1% of the population has!

Neveah Eth

Lynn Classical High School '25

Nevaeh Eth is from Lynn, MA and a class of 2025 junior at Lynn Classical High School where she is a three sport student athlete. As Freshman of the Year, Nevaeh earned the starting shortstop position for the Lynn Classical Varsity Softball and helped contribute to the 2022 team’s title win as Dl Greater Boston League Champs. For the 2023 season, she contributed with 9 HRs and strong shortstop defense. Nevaeh also played on the Lynn Classical JV Basketball and Volleyball team where she was honored with the MVP awards. Last season, her Varsity Basketball team held an undefeated GBL season. For the past two seasons, Nevaeh has also played Outside Hitter for the LCH Varsity Volleyball Team, who currently holds an undefeated in league record and 2022 City Tournament Title. Nevaeh also enjoys playing competitive travel softball year round with the RES Angels 18U Premier and spring and fall league with the Lynn Babe Ruth 18u Elite teams where she was presented with the league MVP award. Nevaeh has also received Academic High Honors Awards in her AP, Honors and Salem State University college courses. Nevaeh is Treasurer of her junior class and enjoys playing an active role in her #RAMFAM school community such as the Inclusive Club. Nevaeh also volunteers at her local food pantry and enjoys helping organize a food drive and field day at her elementary school while also spreading holiday cheer at senior communities. For the past few summers, Nevaeh had a fun learning experience while playing in the Bay State Games Softball Showcase with Team Northeast as shortstop and at 2nd. She hopes to play collegiate softball and pursue a career in sports management. Nevaeh credits her athleticism to daily hard work, dedication and commitment to being 1% better.

Soline Fisher

Arlington High School '25

Soline Fisher is a sophomore at Arlington High School. She swims, plays softball, piano, and flute. She is an all-star in both swimming and softball and has made sectionals and states two years in a row. She has played softball at Bay State Games for two years. Soline is on the math team and Armenian club.

Erica Furdon

Lincoln Sudbury High School '25

Erica Furdon is a sophomore at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. She plays field hockey and lacrosse. Last summer, Erica played on the Southeast team in the BSG Field Hockey Showcase. Erica hopes to major in political science at Salve Regina University (go Seahawks!) A fun fact about Erica is that she has been playing field hockey for 5 years and at first was a goalie 

Daniel Gao

Weston High School '24

Daniel Gao is from Weston. He is currently a senior at Weston High School and an Epee fencer. He has competed internationally six times for Team USA and won two gold medals (individual and team) at the Pan American Championships held in Colombia. His highest rank is #7 in the US and #1 in the Northeast Region among Under 17 fencers. Daniel participated in the 2023 Bay State Summer Games, securing a gold medal in the Junior Men’s Epee competition. He was selected as the 2023 Bay State Games Athlete of the Year. He is the founder and captain of the Weston Varsity Fencing Team and is also a member of the Weston Science and Math Teams. Additionally, he enjoys skiing, playing hockey, and percussion. Daniel aspires to fence for a top NCAA team and pursue studies in artificial intelligence and law in college.

Lani Gilmore

Marblehead High School '25

Lani Gilmore is a junior at Marblehead High School, where she plays on the soccer and tennis teams. At her school, Lani is involved in ten different clubs and is on the Leadership Council. Recently, Lani played with the Northeast team in the Girls Soccer Showcase and had a blast! Lani was also a Bay State Games Ambassador last year and is glad to be back! In her free time, Lani likes to surf, sail, play pickleball, and sing! A fun fact about Lani is that she is one of two sets of twins in her family!

Emerson Gonet

Old Rochester Regional High School '25

Emerson Gonet is a junior at Old Rochester Regional High School. She is from Fairhaven, MA. Emerson plays basketball and field hockey at her high school. Emerson is involved in many clubs including: Student Council, Cultural Clubs of America, Community Service Club, AFS Club, Ambassadors Program, Founder of the Spirit Club, and Baking Club at her school. She is the class president of her class at her school. Emerson hopes to study kinesiology in college. 

Bianca Greenan

Groton-Dunstable Regional School '27

Bianca Greenan is a freshman in the class of 2027 at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School in Groton, MA. She plays on her school’s JV volleyball team and on Mill City’s 15U Blue club volleyball team, as a middle blocker, outside, and/or right-side hitter. She competed in the 2023 Bay State Games Girls Volleyball Showcase. In addition to volleyball, Bianca enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and cooking. She is a member of the school Photography Club, Mind Matters, and World of Difference. Bianca hopes to play college volleyball in the future. A fun fact about Bianca is that she has traveled to 11 different countries.

Shannon Gustin

Rockland High School '25

Shannon Gustin is a junior at Rockland High school. She is a figure skater at South Shore Skating Club and has participated in Bay State Games for figure skating since in 2016. In her free time Shannon also coaches private lessons and the learn to skate program at Winterland Skating School, where she has skated synchro for 11 years. Shannon also plays volleyball for her high school as well as South Shore Wolfpack. At school she is part of the student council, key club and women’s empowerment club at her school. Shannon plans to go to college to study biochemistry and later on go to medical school to become a pediatric endocrinologist.

Siena Hesbach

Maynard High School '26

Siena Hesbach from Maynard and is part of the class of 2026 at Maynard High School. She has been playing soccer and swimming for more than 10 years. She has also participated in the Bay State Games in 2019 and 2023 and hopes to do so again next year. Siena is a part of her class government in the public relations role and is also the PR manager for her school's Leaders of Change club. Siena hopes to either take swimming, soccer or both to the collegiate level. A fun fact about Siena is that she lived in The Netherlands for 3 years.

Erin Higdon

Lynnfield High School '25

Erin Higdon is from Lynnfield, MA and attends Lynnfield High School. Erin plays volleyball at school and at club. She has been playing for 6 years, this year and last year she played for Boston UVC for there national team. Erin was a member of the Metro team in the 2023 Girls Volleyball Showcase. Erin will graduate in 2025 and plans to go to college to get her nursing degree. 

Jordi Higgins

Bishop Feehan High School '26

Jordan Higgins is from Mansfield, MA. She is currently a sophomore at Bishop Feehan High School, class of 2026. This is her second season playing on the D1 varsity field hockey team, and last spring she competed in the long jump. At school, Jordi is involved in the Saint Vincent de Paul Club, and is looking to join Student Council. For the past two summers, Jordi has played in the Bay State Games on the Coastal Field Hockey team, where she helped her team win the gold medal for two years in a row! Jordi has played club field hockey for the past 7 years, and currently plays for Allegiance. In addition, she has participated in the USA Field Hockey Nexus Championships in both 2021 and 2022. Jordi hopes to play collegiate field hockey and become a physical therapist. A fun fact about Jordi is that she loves to bake cookies and all sorts of desserts. 

Nathan Kaczuwka

Ware Jr/Sr High School '25

Nathan Kaczuwka is from West Brookfield. He is a junior at Ware Jr/Sr High School, where he plays baseball. Nathan played in the 2023 BSG Baseball Showcase for the West team, helping the team win the silver medal. Nathan also plays baseball for Monson Post 241. A fun fact about Nathan is that his high school baseball team won the Western Mass Championship in 2023.

Kenzie Kelly

Plymouth South High School '24

 Kenzie Kelly is a senior at Plymouth South High School and has been figure skating for 10 years. Kenzie started competing in the Bay State Games in 2018, fell in love with the competition, and has been doing it ever since! A fun fact about Kenzie is that she loves Taylor Swift.

Colleen Koshulsky

Cardinal Spellman High School '27

Colleen Koshulsky is from Holbrook, MA. She is a member of the class of 2027 at Cardinal Spellman High School and is a 3-sport athlete and honor roll student. Colleen ran varsity cross country and was awarded the MVP of the 2023 season. Colleen was awarded the Rookie of the Year Award for running varsity cross country as an 8th grader in 2022. She is going out for the varsity ice hockey and softball teams in the upcoming seasons. In 7th and 8th grade Colleen played both ice hockey and softball at the junior varsity level. The Bay State Summer Games of 2023 found Colleen skating for Team South where the team won the bronze medal. Colleen loves being on the ice playing hockey, volunteering her time teaching Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey at the local rink and also working as a certified referee with USA Hockey. When she isn’t on the ice she can be found on the field behind the plate as a catcher or at short stop fielding the ball. In her free time Colleen enjoys exploring outside with her goldendoodle, Harlie. 

Jayden Leonard

Pembroke High School '25

Jayden Leonard is a junior at Pembroke High School. In the fall he plays wide receiver, cornerback and free safety for the Pembroke Titans football team. For all other seasons, Jayden competes in track. Jayden participated in the 2022 and 2023 Bay State Games Track and Field competitions, running both the 100M, 200M and Long Jump. He has brought home medals in all of his events and PR’d four times at said meets. Jayden has made the All Scholastic Indoor and Outdoor teams in both 2022 and 2023, has run at the New Balance National meets in 2022 and 2023, and is the 4th leg of the MIAA D4 4x100M winning relay team. In the Summer of 2022 and 2023 Jayden competed at the USATF National Championships, qualifying for Junior Olympics both years. When not on the field, or in the weight room, Jayden volunteers at the Pembroke Youth Football clinic each Fall, is a member of DECA, Student Council and the Best Buddies program at PHS. He is an Honor Roll student in the class of 2025 who intends to run at the collegiate level and continue improving at his sport while pursuing a career in sports medicine. A fun fact about Jayden is that he wears size 14 shoes!

Isabel Luneau

Braintree High School '26

Isabel Luneau lives in Braintree and is a member of the class of 2026 at Braintree High School. She is also a member of the International Fencing Club and has been fencing for five years. In addition to fencing, Isabel enjoys watching her school's various sporting events and participating in some extracurriculars including Key Club, SADD, and Yearbook. Isabel's love for sports has been with her all her life, having partaken in intramural soccer and softball, and loves watching her favorite Boston Sports teams. She has fenced in both the 2022 & 2023 Baystate Games. She hopes to study sports marketing and fence throughout college. A fun fact about Izzy is that she loves a good hike with her dog, Rey. 

Sabina MacKechnie

East Longmeadow High School '26

Sabina  Mackechnie is from East Longmeadow and is a sophomore at East Longmeadow High School. She is a very well rounded athlete who plays soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. Sabina played on the Central team in the Girls Soccer Showcase this past summer. She hopes to continue playing sports, especially soccer at the college level. A fun fact about Sabina is she can do over 1000 juggles!

Nina Mako

Nauset Regional High School '24

Nina Mako is a senior at Nauset Regional High School in Eastham. She has been swimming for Bay State Games since the age of ten, placing at both Bay State Games as well as the 2022 State Games of America. She is proud to be the captain of her school’s swim team and the Cape Cod FireFish swim team, a co-president of Nauset’s Green Club, and an enthusiastic Swiftie! 

Keira Manning

Advanced Math & Science Academy '25

Keira Manning is from Marlborough, MA. She attends the Advanced Math and Science Academy as a junior, where she plays field hockey and lacrosse. AMSA co-ops with both Marlborough High School and Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School for high school field hockey, which provided Keira with a unique opportunity to connect with other players from outside of her school. Keira has participated in both the 2022 and 2023 BSG Field Hockey Showcases, playing for the Central team. She has played club field hockey for Cape Ann Field Hockey Club for three years, and has been playing field hockey since she was in sixth grade. In college, Keira hopes to play field hockey and study Political Science or PreLaw. A fun fact about Keira is that she loves to travel, read, and take naps on the beach. 

Alana Marchetti

Leominster Regional High School '25

Alana Marchetti is from Leominster and is currently a junior at Leominster high school. She is a three sport varsity athlete on Leominster’s lacrosse, ski racing, and field hockey team. Alana played in the 2022 BSG Field Hockey Showcase, and played in the girls 7v7 lacrosse tournament in the year prior. Alana hopes to play field hockey in the college level. 

Jacqui Martineau

Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsboro) '25

Jacqui Martineau is from Merrimack, NH. She is a Junior at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, MA where she plays varsity softball, basketball, and volleyball. She has attended NDA since pre-school. Jacqui has loved playing softball since she was 5 years old, and joined travel at softball 7. She has played for the New England Fusion Softball organization for several years, and is currently the starting catcher on their 18u showcase team. At school, she is an NDA Ambassador and a mentor. For the future, she is considering architecture, interior design and kinesiology. A fun fact about Jacqui is that her Merrimack Magic softball team won the 10u Babe Ruth NH State Championship.

Leah Medeiros

Sutton High School '26

Leah Medeiros is in the class of 2026 at Sutton High School. She plays varsity field hockey for Sutton High. Leah also plays ice hockey for Auburn High School and the Worcester Whitehawks club team. Leah played on the Central team in the 2023 BSG Girls Ice Hockey Showcase. She plans on going to college to study architecture and to play ice hockey. Some clubs Leah takes part in include her school's Student Athlete Leadership Team, Student Council and Community Service Learning club.

Nicholas Miller

St. Mary's High School Lynn '24

Nicholas Miller is a senior at St. Mary’s High School in Lynn where he is a member of the National Honor Society and Scholars Program, as well as the soccer and track teams. Last year Nicholas was named the Best Offensive Player, Catholic Central League Conference All-Star and Daily Lynn Item All Star and this year he was chosen MVP of the Lynn City Tournament, which St. Mary’s won. Nicholas is also a member of the NEFC North Shore Boys Elite National League Club Soccer Team where they have travelled to North Carolina and Arizona to compete in tournaments. He also plays soccer during the summer with the Bay States and District Select programs. One of Nicholas’ most passionate volunteer activities is with the North Shore Rovers where he spends the fall working with kids with intellectual and physical disabilities to learn and play soccer. He has made a special connection with one player named Will that he will always carry with him. A fun fact is that on Nicholas’ first season on the high school track team he set a new 400 Meter City Record in the 2023 Lynn City Meet and was also a state qualifier in the 4x4. Nicholas credits his teachers and coaches for all his success.

Madison Moran

Attleboro High School '25

Madison Moran is a junior honors student attending Attleboro High School. She plays 3rd base and 1st base and have competed at the Division 1 Varsity level for softball and track and field (shotput) since freshman year. For the past five years, Madison has enjoyed playing competitive travel softball year-round with the BNB ROX. She played in the 2023 BSG Softball Showcase for the Coastal team, where her team was awarded with the sportsmanship award. Some activities Madison does outside of school are Athletic Training, Dirtbike/ATV riding, Fishing, and Welding. In the future, she hopes to become a physical therapist for athletes. Madison also hopes to play collegiate softball. A fun fact about Madison is that she has a twin brother who plans to compete in the Bay State Games for hockey and lacrosse.

Avery Motta

BMC Durfee High School '27

Avery Motta is a freshman at B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River. She plays varsity field hockey for Durfee High School, and competed on the Coastal team in the 2023 BSG Field Hockey Showcase, helping her team to the gold medal! Avery hopes to also run track in the spring. She plays club field hockey and has participated in NEXUS in 2022 and 2023, making it to the regional selection in 2023. In the future, she hopes to play field hockey collegiately and work in the sports field as a sports journalist, sports agent, or a mix of both! Avery's dream is to work in all professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLS, etc.) and be able to build relationships with athletes from across the globe. A couple fun facts about Avery is that she has a twin brother who is also an incredible athlete, and she is a huge football and Cincinnati Bengals fan!

Colleen Murphy

Cushing Academy '24

Colleen Murphy is from Charlton, Massachusetts. She is a senior at Cushing Academy. She plays soccer, basketball, and softball at Cushing. In addition, Colleen plays travel AAU basketball and travel softball. Currently, Colleen is a member of the following clubs: President of the Fused Glass Club, Cushing Academy Proctor, Kindness Club, Cushing tour guide , Cooking Club, and Leadership Club. She has played on the Central team in the BSG Softball Showcase for 3 years and has also played in the Girls Basketball Showcase. Her college athletic goals are to play basketball and softball and to pursue a career in the Marketing or Physical Therapy. A fun fact about Colleen is she loves to shop. 

Hannah Murphy

Cushing Academy '27

Hannah Murphy is from Charlton. She is a freshman at Cushing Academy where she is a two-sport student athlete. She plays on the varsity soccer and varsity basketball teams. She plays on two AAU Basketball teams. In addition to sports, she participates on Kindness Club, Cooking Club, Cushing Tour Guide. I also volunteers often for the Special Olympics, youth basketball leagues, and kids fitness and basketball classes. This past summer, Hannah participated on Central Basketball team for Bay State Games. In the near future, Hannah hopes to play college basketball. A fun fact about Hannah is she loves the beach! 

Ezekiel Nguessan

Agawam High School '24

Ezekiel Nguessan is from Agawam and goes to Agawam High School, where he plays boys volleyball. Ezekiel was a member of the gold-medal-winning West team in the 2023 BSG Boys Volleyball Showcase. At school, he is part of the diversity club and peer mediation club. He plans to go to college to study chemical engineering. A fun fact about Ezekiel is that he is a state champion volleyball player. 

Kayden Oullette

Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School '25

Kayden Ouellette is from Groveland and goes to Whittier Tech. Kayden plays volleyball, basketball, and softball at school. In 2023, she played for the Northeast team in the 2023 BSG Softball Showcase. Kayden also plays for Rage Fastpitch in Salisbury. Kayden is in a CNA program at school and hopes to go to college for nursing.

Morgan Peabody

West Springfield High School '25

Morgan Peabody is a student-athlete at West Springfield High School. She partakes in her school's student government as vice president and helps coach unified basketball as well. Morgan is a varsity starter on the softball and basketball teams. She has played on the West team in the 2022 and 2023 Softball Showcases. In 2023, she was named team captain of the West squad. Morgan also plays for Western Mass Warriors 18u travel team. Morgan wants to major in criminal justice and minor in forensic science to become a detective. One fun fact about Morgan is that she love country music.

Grace Rajpold

East Longmeadow High School '25

Grace Rajpold is a junior at East Longmeadow High School and has been a member of their varsity field hockey team since freshman year. She has been playing field hockey since she was in 3rd grade. In addition to field hockey, Grace is also a member of her school's varsity lacrosse team. Grace participated in the 2022 Bay State Games Field Hockey Showcase on the West Team. When not spending time training on the field or in the gym, Grace is found participating in numerous school clubs and spending time with her family and friends. 

Sydney Reed

West Springfield High School '25

Sydney Reed is from West Springfield and attends West Springfield High School. She plays varsity soccer, lacrosse and indoor track. Sydney has participated in the 2022 and 2023 Summer Games on the Central girls soccer team. She is in her school's Irish club and participates in numerous volunteer activities. A fun fact about Sydney is she has a twin!!

Liam Richard

Groton Dunstable Regional High School '26

Liam Richard is a sophomore at Groton Dunstable Regional High School. Liam played on the Central Baseball team in the 2023 Baseball Showcase. He is a pitcher and shortstop on the Groton Dunstable varsity baseball team. Liam also trains with the Nor’Easters baseball team out of Tewksbury, MA. In the fall, Liam plays varsity golf for Groton Dunstable and is a junior member at the Groton Country Club where he plays and trains when not playing with his school team. Liam is a member of Best Buddies and the Student Athletic Committee. Liam enjoyed the experience playing on the BSG baseball team and looks forward to promoting the opportunity to others.

Ryleigh Richard

Groton Dunstable Regional High School '25

Ryleigh Richard is a junior at Groton Dunstable Regional High School. Ryleigh has participated in the baton twirling competition at Bay State Games since 2016. She twirls baton for the The Academy Stars based out of Western MA. Ryleigh competes in NBTA baton twirling competitions locally, regionally and Nationally. She is the 2022 Junior Miss Majorette of Massachusetts. Ryleigh has won the National Show Twirl Title for her age group in 2019, 2022 and 2023 and placed top ten in the Advanced Open Solo division in 2023. Ryleigh is the feature twirler at Groton Dunstable when she performs at Football and Basketball games. In addition to twirling, Ryleigh plays Volleyball for Groton Dunstable and for Ignite Volleyball out of Westford, MA. She is a member of the Groton Dunstable National Honor Society, Best Buddies and Student Athletic Committee. Ryleigh hopes to bring awareness to the opportunities offered to student athletes in Groton Dunstable and regionally.

Anna Ryan

Scituate High School '25

Anna Ryan is a junior at Scituate High School. She is a competitive figure skater representing the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, MA. She has been competing in the Bay State Games since 2015. Anna also represents Team USA as a member of the Act 1 of Boston Theatre on Ice team. At school, she participates in indoor and outdoor track and field. Anna is also active in her school journalism club, DECA and the Junior Activities Committee at her skating club. In her free time, she enjoys photography and playing with her dogs, Deke and Enzo.

Fallon Ryan

Hull High School '25

Fallon Ryan is a junior at Hull High School, where she plays soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. Fallon has played on the Coastal team in the Girls Soccer Showcase for the past 3 summers. She hopes to continue playing soccer in college. A fun fact about Fallon is that she loves dogs, especially her labs, Chloe and Sunny.

Angel Santiago

Angel Santiago is a sophomore at Salem Academy Charter School and lives in Salem. He has played baseball most of my life but then fell in love with basketball. Angel's future goals include being a college athlete and hopefully be a professional. A fun fact is that Angel has a very cute dog.

Aine Scanlan

Hanover High School '26

Aine Scanlan is a sophomore at Hanover High School. Aine is a competitive figure skater and has been attending Bay State Games since 2019. Aine skates for Winterland Skating School and South Shore Skating Club. Aine is also a junior coach for Winterland, working with skaters in its Learn-to-Skate and advanced figure skating programs. Outside of figure skating, Aine plays the oboe in Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra and South Shore Conservatory Youth Orchestra. At school Aine participates in Yearbook Club, Marching Band and Concert Band. In her free time Aine loves spending time with her dog Alfie.

Aryanna Secia

Somerset Berkley High School '26

Aryanna Secia is a sophomore at Somerset Berkley Regional High School and will graduate in the spring of 2026. Ary has been on varsity girls soccer team for 2 years now, and completed her first year at Bay State Games this past summer!  In addition to playing on varsity, she has played club soccer for 5 years. Her most recent award was back in July as the Country's Best CenterBack for U15 in the Elite 64 League. Aryanna has been on the Olympic Development Program for 2 years, and plans to pursue playing soccer in college. Her desired major is sports medicine or physical therapy. A fun fact about Aryanna is that she loves to volunteer in the community! She coaches children 12 and under and in her free time is a Certified Referee. 

Joseph Silvia

BMC Durfee High School '26

Joseph Silvia is from Fall River and is a sophomore at BMC Durfee High School. He plays on the varsity baseball team and runs on the varsity cross country team. He played on the freshman baseball team as an 8th grader and became the starting catcher for the varsity team as a freshman. Joseph played on the Southeast team in 2023 Baseball Showcase. Joseph enjoys playing third base, catching, and pitching for his travel baseball team.  

Susan Shu

Weston High School '26

Susan Shu was born in China and moved to Weston at a very young age. She goes to Weston High School and will graduate in 2026. Susan competes in fencing at Cavalier Fencing Club in Burlington and has competed at the Bay State Games Fencing tournament every year. Susan plans on joining her high school DECA team this year. She hopes to study business and psychology in the future. A fun fact about Susan is that she is part Russian and Mongolian. 

Madisyn Slattery

Ware Jr/Sr High School '26

Madisyn Slattery is from Ware, Massachusetts where she attends Ware Jr/Sr High School. She is the president of the class of 2026 as class president and a student council officer. She has been a three-sport varsity athlete since my freshman year, playing soccer, basketball, and softball. Madisyn also plays softball for the Western Mass Heat. After high school, she plans to double major in business and animal sciences to hopefully move on to owning her own animal business. A fun fact about Madisyn is on top of playing sports her whole life, She has also danced for 15 years!

Zoe Smallman

Weston High School '26

Zoe Smallman is a sophomore at Weston High School and has played for the Girls Varsity Volleyball team since 9th grade. She started playing volleyball as an 8th grader and played for a national team last club season, having the opportunity to travel to various states to compete against top teams from across the country and from Canada, Brazil, and more. Zoe participated in the Bay State Summer Games in volleyball in July 2023 and had the most amazing time competing with and against some of the best in the area! Zoe also has coached volleyball at the Beach House in Natick and loves playing beach volleyball when she’s not on the hard court for school or club. When not playing volleyball, Zoe is active in her community and at school, volunteering for various organizations and events and serving on Student Council, as a Student Ambassador for new and incoming high school students, and as a member of the Women’s Empowerment Club. Currently, Zoe also is the sports photographer for Weston Neighbors magazine. A couple of fun facts about Zoe is that she got to play volleyball in Florence and Venice, Italy and takes two languages - French and Spanish, hoping to utilize these skills in the future to foster international relationships.

Emma Sousa

East Longmeadow High School '26

Emma Sousa is a sophomore at East Longmeadow High School, where she plays soccer. Emma has been playing soccer for 13 years and has been part of the varsity team at ELHS since freshman year. Emma played on the Central team in the Bay State Games Girls Soccer team for the past two summers. Emma also previously played softball and basketball. She is a part of the Pink Ribbon Club at school. She hopes to continue playing soccer in college. A fun fact about Emma is that she loves to shop for and collect new soccer cleats and soccer balls. She also loves traveling and especially loves going to Cape Cod every summer. 

Eleni Spack

Peabody Veterans Memorial High School '26

Eleni Spack plays ice hockey, soccer and softball at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in Peabody, MA. In school, she is also involved in DECA, Model UN, and the International club. Eleni played on the Southeast/Coastal team in the 2023 Girls Ice Hockey Showcase and she met a lot of new girls and had a lot of fun! Outside of school sports and clubs, Eleni also plays for the NS Wings U16 Hockey program as well as the Extra Innings Softball U18 program. Eleni would like to continue my academics and athletics, playing hockey and studying culinary arts, business management and/or psychology. A fun fact about Eleni is that she has a pet cat named Thumper. In her free time she likes to bake, mountain bike, hike, ski, and practice hockey. 

Amelia Spencer

Winthrop High School '25

Amelia Spencer is from Winthrop, MA. She is currently a junior at Winthrop High School, where she is a two-sport student athlete playing both varsity ice hockey and varsity softball. This past summer, Amelia's Bay State Games Northeast team won back-to-back gold medals. Her high school hockey team went undefeated in the 2021-2022 & 2022-2023 seasons and were back-to-back Northeast Conference Champions. For extracurricular activities, she is involved in student council, student government, debate club, and wellness club. Amelia was just elected President for the Class of 2025 and was chosen to represent the ice hockey and softball teams at the Winthrop High School Student Athlete Leadership Program this past summer. Amelia was also chosen to represent her school as a MIAA Student Ambassador for the 2023-2024 school year. Amelia volunteers throughout her community and always tries to help whenever and wherever she can. In college, she hopes to continue to play varsity hockey and study Special Education and become an adapted physical education teacher. A fun fact about Amelia is she loves going to the beach and vacationing on the happy island of Aruba.

Katelynn Swistak

Quaboag Regional High School '25 

Katelynn Swistak is from West Brookfield, MA. She is currently a junior at Quaboag Regional High School in Warren, MA, where she is a member of the Varsity Field Hockey team. Katelynn has played on the Central field hockey team in the BSG Field Hockey Showcase for the past 2 years. She also plays field hockey for Evolution FHC all year long. She is looking forward to continuing playing field hockey at the collegiate level. A fun fact about Katelynn is her favorite show is Gilmore Girls!!

Azriel Taguiam

Salem Academy '24

Azriel Taguiam was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts. He is currently a junior attending Salem Academy Charter School. Azriel is a three-sport athlete participating in varsity basketball, baseball, and cross country. Outside of athletics, he is  part of the yearbook, and Computer Science Honor Society. His post-high school interests include pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics and actuarial science. Azriel's current career goal is an actuary, a job that requires analytical skills, and a good understanding of finance. One fun fact about Azriel is that he isa self taught piano player and plays whenever he can. 

Olivia Viens

Grafton High School '25

Olivia Viens is from Grafton, MA and attends Grafton High School as a junior. She is on the executive board of FCL and organizes volunteer opportunities across her school. She has assistant coached for the Grafton Girls Youth lacrosse program for 5 years. She has played hockey since she was 5 years old and currently plays club for the Minuteman Lady Flames and for the Varsity Auburn High School co-op team. She also plays varsity field hockey where she was a captain for the 2023-2024 season and varsity lacrosse. She is captain of the Auburn High Girls Hockey team and of the Grafton Field Hockey team. Olivia has competed in the Bay State Games Girls Ice Hockey Showcase in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and has collected a Gold (2021), Silver (2022) and Bronze (2023) medal across her three years of participating and playing for the Southeast/Coastal team. 

Nhan Vuong

Longmeadow High School '26

Nhan Vuong is a sophomore volleyball player. He has played 2 years of volleyball on a U15 huskies team and a 15’s smash team, as well as 1 year of varsity experience at Longmeadow High School. A fun fact about Nhan is that he has an irrational fear of being in another dimension.

Justin Wang

Lexington High School '27

Justin Wang is a freshman at Lexington High School. He is an Epee fencer and his best result is National top 16 in Y14 at the 2023 March North American Cup. Additionally, he is a percussionist in his high school’s concert band. Justin is actively engaged in community service through the youth volunteer service program, Helpful Hands, which he founded. He is also a member of the Lexington STEAM Team, where he uses his programming skills to contribute to the town library and other organizations. A fun fact about Justin is that he enjoys raising pet chickens.

Tessa Winslow

Old Rochester Regional High School '25

Tessa Winslow is a junior at Old Rochester Regional High School. She plays Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse. At school she participates in many clubs including, Student Council, Student Ambassador, Cultural Club and Community Service Club. Outside of School she is a part of the MIAA Student Advisory Committee. She also coaches a youth lacrosse team and volunteers with the youth basketball program. 

Juliette Winston

Newton North High School '27

Juliette Winston is a freshman at Newton North High School. She has been figure skating for 10 years and playing field hockey for 7 years. She is involved in her school’s honors jazz program and has been playing the trombone for 5 years. She is currently an ISI freestyle 6 skater. Juliette currently skates for the Center Skating Academy at the New England Sports Center. She competes in synchronized skating and theater on ice with her team. She competed in figure skating at the Bay State Winter Games in 2020 and 2023 and is looking forward to competing in the State Games of America in summer 2024. Juliette plays goalie for the Newton North junior varsity field hockey team. She enjoys volunteering at her local skating rinks as a Learn to Skate instructor. Juliette also works at the Newton Youth Field Hockey Clinic run at her school in the fall. A fun fact about Juliette is that she has a cat that she got during covid.

Ryan Woodsmall

Advanced Math and Science Academy '25

Ryan Woodsmall is from Clinton, MA. He attends the Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School, where he is in his junior year. At school he runs track in the spring, and competes club gymnastics in the winter, throughout the year is involved in many school clubs. These include being part of a First Tech Challenge team, a club which fundraises for Operation Smile, and others. Ryan has participated in Track and Field at the Bay State Games, competing in the 100, 200, 400, long jump, and triple jump throughout the 2 years he has competed.

MaryKatherine Zablocki

Malden Catholic High School '24

MaryKatherine Zablocki is from Revere and Wakefield, MA. She attends Malden Catholic High School and is the class of 2024. She participates in field hockey, ice hockey, golf, and club rugby at her school. MaryKatherine played in the Girls Ice Hockey Showcase in 2021, 2022, and 2023 for the Metro team. She is a member of many clubs, including Limbs for Life, Chem Club, Habitat for Humanity, Operation Smile, Irish Culture and Heritage, and Morgan's Message. She plans to pursue biomedical engineering and/or math in college and play sports at some level. A fun fact about MaryKatherine is that is that she enjoys learning different languages and is currently learning Polish and Swedish using language apps.

Darren Zaldivar

Ludlow High School '24

Darren Zaldivar is a junior at Ludlow High School. He has played soccer since he was 8 years old and basketball since age 6. At Ludlow High, he plays soccer, basketball, and runs track, where he was a state qualifier and the only freshman on the varsity squad. Darren also played basketball when he was younger. Darren is a member of National Honors Society and he volunteers with youth soccer and basketball events around the community. Darren hopes to become and an anesthesiologist and study at either UMiami or Lynn University. A fun fact about Darren is that he likes to ski and hanging out with friends and family.
