REGISTRATION FOR TRACK & FIELD IS NOW CLOSED. THE DEADLINE WAS JULY 9TH. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND THERE WILL BE NO ONSITE REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE MEET.
Early Bird Entry Fee: $40 (until May 1)
Entry Fee: $50 (until June 1)
Late Entry Fee: $65
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 9
Eligibility:
Athletes must also meet at least one of the criteria below:
- A full-time resident of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont
- A registered member of a Track and Field Club in Massachusetts. Athletes entering under this eligibility rule may not also be a member of a non-Massachusetts club.
Age Divisions
- Masters I: Age 40 - 59
- Masters II: Age 60+
- Masters athletes can choose to compete in the open or masters division on an event-by-event basis
- Athletes who choose to enter both open and masters events must register with the proper form and pay the appropriate fee
The events offered are below:
- 100 Meter
- 200 Meter
- 400 Meter
- 800 Meter
- Mile
- 3K Walk
- Long Jump
- Discus
- Shot Put
- Hammer Throw
If you are interested in entering any event that is not offered in the Masters division but is in the Open division, athletes may enter as an open athlete in those events. If you choose to do this, register as a Masters athlete and contact the BSG office via email or phone (781-932-6555) to enter Open events.
Athletes may enter two running events and one field event OR two field events and one running event. All entry applications must be received one week prior to competition. No on-site registration will be allowed.

Rules
- USATF rules will be followed
- USATF membership is not required to enter
- The starting block requirement will be waived. Blocks can be used by competitors who wish to use them

Seed Times
Participants in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter must provide a seed time on their application. Seed times can be updated until one week prior to the competition by contacting the Bay State Games office. Athletes who do not provide a seed time will be dropped from the event. Seed times will not be accepted on the day of the event.
The Bay State Games regional track and field meet will be sanctioned by USA Track and Field.

2026 State Games of America
The 2025 Bay State Games Masters Track and Field competition serves as a qualifier for the 2026 State Games of America. All medalists (gold, silver, and bronze) in this event will qualify for the 2026 State Games of America in State College, PA.
The 2026 State Games of America will be hosted by the Keystone State Games and Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance.
