Eligibility
All athletes must meet the following criteria:
- A full time resident or full-time student at a school in any of the following states: Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, or Connecticut
Singles:
- Event 1: Age 8 - 18
- Event 2: Age 19 - 39
- Event 3: Age 40 - 59
- Event 4: Age 60 and Older
- Event 5: Open Age 8 and Older
- Event 6: Novice Age 8 - 18
- Event 7: Novice Age 19
Doubles:
- Event 8: Age 8 - 18
- Event 9: Age 19 and Older
**Novice Divisions
Novice divisions are intended for players with limited or no tournament experience (They are not rating events). To be eligible for the novice divisions, players must either have no USATT or Ratings Central ratings or their USATT and Ratings Central rating must both be less than 800 for the Novice Age 8 - 18 or less than 1,000 for the Novice Age 19 and Older.
All events are co-ed.
- The matches will follow a best-of-five format.
- All players may play at least 3 matches per event
- All events will begin with round-robin play, followed by single-elimination playoffs when applicable.
- Matches are best 3 out of 5 games, unless otherwise specified.
- The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust event draw limits based on the number of entries.
- By the USATT dress code, white clothing is not permitted.
- Players may not enter two events that begin at the same time or more than three events in a single day.

- Racket: An ITTF-compliant table tennis racket requires the rubbers on each side to be a different color.

- Singles Novice Age 8 - 18: 10:00 a.m.
- Singles Novice Age 19 and Older: 10:00 a.m.
- Singles Age 8 - 18: 12:00 p.m.
- Singles Age 19 - 39: 12:00 p.m.
- Singles Open Age 8 and Older: 2:00 p.m.
- Doubles (all ages): 2:00 p.m.
- Singles Age 40 - 59: 4:00 p.m.
- Singles Age 60 and Older: 4:00 p.m.
A finalized schedule will be sent to all participants once registration has closed.
Players who do not check in by the scheduled start time of their event will be defaulted.
2026 State Games of America
The 2025 Bay State Games Table Tennis competition serves as a qualifier for the 2026 State Games of America. All medalists (gold, silver, and bronze) in this event will qualify for the 2026 State Games of America in State College, PA.
The 2026 State Games of America will be hosted by the Keystone State Games and Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance.
