Bay State Games Announces 2026 Sportsmanship Award Recipients
The Bay State Games is proud to recognize the recipients of the 2026 Sportsmanship Awards Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, an honor given annually to athletes who best demonstrate fairness, respect, integrity, and a commitment to the spirit of competition.
This year, more than 40 athletes from across Massachusetts, representing eight different sports, were chosen by their coaches for their outstanding character and leadership. These honorees stood out not only for their athletic performance, but also for the way they carried themselves on and off the field during the 2026 Bay State Summer Games.
“Sportsmanship is a core value of the Bay State Games which we emphasize to all athletes, coaches and parents,” said Deputy Executive Director, Alanis Tirabassi.” These award recipients represent the very best of what the Bay State Games is all about. In recognition of their achievement, each recipient is awarded a Bay State Games Sportsmanship award certificate and medal.
