2021 Boys Volleyball Showcase Recap

Boys Volleyball Showcase took place Saturday, July 10 - Sunday, July 11 at The Rivers School in Weston
Match 1 - Metro v. Northeast
Northeast won both sets by the scores 25-21 and 25-18.
Match 2 - Southeast/Coastal v. Central/West
The teams split the two sets with Southeast/Coastal winning the first one 25-15 and Central/West winning the second 25-13.
Match 3 - Central/West v. Metro
In their second match of the day, Central/West swept Metro 25-13 and 25-12.
Match 4 - Southeast/Coastal v. Northeast
After a close set of 25-21, Northeast dominated the second set, winning 25-13 to sweep Southeast/Coastal.
Match 5 - Northeast v. Central/West
In the closest match of the day, Central/West walked away with two wins after beating Northeast 25-19 and 25-22.
Match 6 - Southeast/Coastal v. Metro
The two teams split with Metro winning the first set 25-18 and Southeast/Coastal winning 25-10 in the second to wrap up the first day of the tournament for the boys.
Semifinal 1 - Central/West v. Metro
After two tight sets (25-21 and 23-25) Central/West walked away with the victory over Metro in the decisive set 15-10 to earn a spot in the gold medal match.
Semifinal 2 - Northeast v. Southeast/Coastal
Northeast dominated both sets on route to 25-15 and 25-16 victories.
Bronze Medal Match - Metro v. Southeast/Coastal
The bronze medal match was competitive the whole way through. Southeast/Coastal won the first set 25-21 and Metro bounced back to win the second set 25-22. In a back-and-forth final set that took two tries to finish, Southeast/Coastal came away with the victory 17-15 to earn the bronze medal.
Gold Medal Match - Central/West v. Northeast
In yet another tight match, Northeast won the first set 25-23 and Central/West won the second 25-23. In the final set, Northeast went on a run to defeat top-seed, Central/West by a score of 15-12 to win the gold medal.
