McClellan Named 2022 Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship Recipient

On April 7, Caitlin McClellan was awarded the Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship at the 2022 McCormack Department of Sport Management Awards Banquet.
Caitlin is a sport management student at UMass Amherst expected to graduate with the class of 2023. At UMass, she is a member of the Women in Sport Management (WISM) club and the Mark H. McCormack Sport Management Club. Growing up in Essex, Vermont, Caitlin played basketball and field hockey. Caitlin was an Operations Intern at Bay State Games for the 2021 Summer Games. She previously worked for the Vermont Lake Monsters minor league baseball team in Game Day Operations and Promotions. This summer, Caitlin will be an intern with Mass Golf.
The Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship was established by Bay State Games and UMass Amherst in memory of Kristian Rose, who was tragically killed in an auto accident during his Bay State Games internship. This scholarship is open to Sport Management students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with preference given to students with community service experience, and financial need.
