2019-2020 High School Ambassadors 

Simon Abbott, Tec Communications Academy '21
Simon Abbott is from Granby, Massachusetts and attends TEC Connections Academy. Simon has participated in the Bay State Winter Games Figure Skating since 2016, winning several medals. At school, Simon is an avid student of American History and old artifacts. He is a member of the History Club and National Honors Society. After graduation, he hopes to attend Amherst College of UMass Amherst and study to become a scientist. A fun fact about Simon is that he loves to collect minerals and rocks and to explore caves-preferably without bears in them!


Olivia Adelabu, Pingree School '22
Olivia Adelabu is from North Andover Massachusetts. Currently she is a sophomore at the Pingree School where she plays many different sports. Track and field her my main sport, and she has been running since the beginning of middle school. This past summer, Olivia competed in the Bay State Games for track where she won first place in the 100 and 200 meters. In the future, she plans to be a neuroscientist and to run track in college and maybe on a more professional level. She is so excited to progress in her track career!


Lauren Anastos, Hull High School '20

Erika Blanchard, Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical Institute '23
Erika Blanchard lives in Norton, MA and is a member of the class of 2023 at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical Institute. She plays soccer, won a silver medal in the 2019 Bay State Games FootGolf tournament. For extracurricular activities, she enjoys playing futsal, surfing, working on community service projects, promoting wellness, and traveling. In the future she hopes to attend college, become an entrepreneur, and own her own business. A fun fact about Erika is that she started her own futsal team called the Shooting Stars and are now world champion qualifiers.

Colin Carney, Westford Academy '20
Colin Carney is a senior at Westford Academy in Westford, MA. This spring will be his third year on the varsity lacrosse team playing long stick midfielder (LSM) and close defense. Colin played for the Bay State Games Northeast team in the Boys Lacrosse Showcase in 2018 and 2019. At Westford Academy, Colin also plays football, basketball, and golf.





Jake Dagesse, Middleborough High School '21
Jake Dagesse is from Middleboro and is a junior at Middleboro High School. Jake plays ice hockey and baseball at Middleboro. He is a member of Rho Kappa Honors Society and student council. His goals for after graduation include majoring in international business with a minor in Russian at a school like Bentley or Babson. A fun fact about Jake is that his nickname is Jubbs. 



Veronica Deacon, Amesbury High School '21
Veronica Deacon is from Amesbury, Massachusetts and will graduate Amesbury High School in 2021. She currently plays softball and field hockey at Amesbury. She has played in the Bay State Games Softball Showcase since 2018 for the Northeast team. She plans to play softball in college and major in Biology or Public Health.  Veronica also has a bearded dragon and two dogs!


Teagan Dymek, Oakmont Regional High School '21
Teagan Dymek resides in Gardner, MA and is a current junior at Oakmont Regional High School. At Oakmont Regional, she competes on the varsity swim team. Teagan competes in club swimming with Castaways Swim Club and club volleyball with CMASS and SLAM and is a competitive rower as well. Teagan enjoys CrossFit and working out and playing volleyball on the Cape in her free time. In 2019, Teagan played on the Central team in the Bay State Games Girls Volleyball Showcase In addition to athletics, she is a member of her school’s Environmental Club and President of “Greenwood Gives Back”, which collects eyewear for people in Africa and hearing aids to be refurbished and given to needy people in the USA. Teagan hopes to continue to play volleyball and row in college and intends to pursue a career in Sports Nutrition or Oral Surgery.

Timothy Gerrish, Southwick High School '21
Timothy Gerrish is in the class of 2021 at Southwick High School. He is a hard-working and dedicated two-sport athlete, playing both soccer and baseball. When he is not playing sports he challenges himself with advanced classes, model congress, student council, and working on the youth district attorneys board. Playing sports has given him the foundation and courage to work towards his goals of attending a military academy after graduation. A fun fact about Timothy is that he is an animal lover and has three large dogs. 


Emma Holmgren, Sandwich High School '21
Emma Holmgren lives in Sandwich, Massachusetts.  She is a junior at Sandwich High School and will graduate in the class of 2021.  She plays softball for Sandwich High School where she has been the starting varsity second baseman since 9th grade. She has been selected as a team captain this spring as a junior.  Emma also plays travel ball with Cape Cod Chaos.  Emma played in the Bay State Games in summer 2019 for the Coastal team and won silver.  She is active in several clubs in school, including Mentors in Violence Prevention, Best Buddies, Diversity Club, and the Sandwich Environmental Awareness Association. After high school she plans to attend college and would like to work in the FBI some day. A fun fact is that Emma has a cat named Brian.

Drew Kenney, Abington High School '23
Drew Kenney is from Abington and goes to Abington High School. She is part of the graduating class of 2023. After she graduates, she hopes to become an English teacher and a figure skating coach. She currently competes in figure skating and dance, which she has done since age 3. Drew competed in the 2019 Bay State Winter Games Figure Skating competition in both USFS and ISI and won two gold medals. A fun fact about Drew is that she has 150 animals in her house!


Tom Leonard, Catholic Memorial School '21

Colleen Murphy, Marianapolis Preparatory School '23
Colleen Murphy lives in Charlton, Massachusetts. She is a freshman at Marianapolis Preparatory School and is expected to graduate in 2023. She is playing both Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer at Marianapolis. Colleen also plans to play both basketball and softball also at her high school.  Colleen played on the Central team in 2019 Girls Basketball Showcase as an 8th grader. She enjoyed her experience and hopes to play again. Currently, Colleen is a member of the Ambassadors Club at school. She plans to join the Leadership Club, Yearbook, and a few more. Her college athletic goals are to play both basketball and softball and to later pursue a career in the medical field. A fun fact about Colleen is that she loves to travel. 


Kaylee O'Bryan, Wahconah Regional High School '21
Kaylee O’Bryan resides in Dalton, Massachusetts and attends Wahconah Regional High School. She is in the class of 2021. Within her high school career, she has participated in varsity volleyball, basketball and softball. Kaylee is also involved in Student Ambassadors, Rotary Interact, and Tribe. In her free time, she works at Scruffy Mutts as a dog grooming assistant and volunteers as an assistant coach in various youth sports in her local community. She is also very active with her travel softball team, NWS Elite Fastpitch 18U and travel volleyball team, AVA Aftershock High Performance U17. She hopes to continue her education, maybe in a warmer climate, attending college to study Animal Science.  A fun fact about Kaylee is that although she is only 5’10”, her wingspan is 6’1”.

RJ Petruccelli, Boston Latin School '22
Richard (RJ) Petruccelli is in the class of 2022 at Boston Latin School. He lives in a Boston neighborhood of Back Bay with his parents and younger brother.  RJ has always been active and loves most sports he has tried. He currently is a three-sport athlete in soccer, wrestling, and lacrosse. He has participated in the Bay State Games wrestling tournament for two years and played on the metro lacrosse team for the first team this last summer. Sports has taught him time management, dedication, and being a member of a team.  When RJ is not playing sports, he enjoys studying history, participates in the Italian club at his school, and hanging out with friends and family. RJ wants to become a lawyer and hopefully enter a career in politics. 

Kelsey Richardson, Greenfield High School '22
Kelsey Richardson resides in Greenfield, MA and is a sophomore (class of 2022) at Greenfield High School. She plays volleyball and softball at Greenfield High School. Kelsey was a key member on the 2019 gold medal winning West Softball team. Her extracurriculars include key club, environmental science club, and the YMCA leaders club. Kelsey's dream career varies from a coach to an athletic director to a firefighter. A fun fact about Kelsey is that she loves to volunteer and work with little kids!



Dylan Vigue, St. John's High School '22
Dylan Vigue is from Leominster, MA, and is a sophomore at Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, MA. He plays baseball and basketball, and is actively involved in several extracurricular activities, including investment, entrepreneur studies, and ski clubs. Dylan’s goal is to attend a university that provides a diverse and challenging academic environment with a competitive baseball program. Currently, he is interested in business management and marketing for his undergraduate studies but is continuing to explore his career interests. A fun fact about Dylan is that he met and received an award from his favorite baseball player, Mookie Betts.

Ellen Wang, Lexington High School '23
Ellen Wang is a student at Lexington High School in the class of 2023. She is a fencer and has participated at Bay State Summer Games for the past 2 years and is the reigning Bay State Senior Women Foil Champion. At school, she is a member of the fencing team, composing club, and Science Olympiad. Her goal is to attend a university or college that has a prestigious women's fencing team. At the moment she is still in the process of exploring her professional interests. A fun fact about Ellen is that she met and talked to all the members of the USA Olympic Foil fencing teams during the past North American Cups and Summer Nationals.  

Dylan Wesley, Agawam High School '22
Dylan Wesley lives in Agawam, MA and attends Agawam High School, class of 2022. He plays varsity soccer and JV basketball. In the Summer 2019, Dylan played on the Bay State West soccer team and won the gold medal. He is also in Peer Mediation at school and likes to golf in his spare time. Dylan hopes to attend a four-year college and major in sports management or related field.
