Entry Fee

Air Pistol Tryout: $20
Air Pistol Finals (for those who qualify): $20
Free Pistol (Finals only): $20
PPP (Finals only): $20

*Please note that pistol, rifle, and trap shooting are all separate events in the Bay State Games, and each requires its own registration form and fee.

Events

Air Pistol - Junior, Scholastic & Open Division. Tryouts required. 60 shot match for all divisions.

Free Pistol - Scholastic & Open Only. No Tryouts.

Progressive Position Pistol (PPP events will be singles only. There will be NO team competition). Open to Juniors & Scholastic. No Tryouts. 40 shot match.

Sanction
This event will be registered with USA Shooting

Eligibility 

An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A full time resident of Massachusetts

  • A full time student of a Massachusetts academic institution
  • A registered member of a shooting club in Massachusetts. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not also be a member of a non Massachusetts club. 

  • Athletes who are permanent Massahcusetts Residents and attend schiool out of state are eligible to compete.

  • A resident of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont

Divisions

Junior: Shooters age 10-14

Scholastic: Shooters Age 15-19

Open:  Shooters Age 20+

  • All events will be competed co-ed with males and females together.
  • All ages are as of June 1, 2017

Awards 

All participants receive a Bay State Summer Games T Shirt. Medals and a Bay State Games award item will be presented to the top three finishers in each division.

State Games of America

All medalists in this event will qualify for the State Games of America in 2019 at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
