Each year medical support for the Bay State Summer Games is provided by over 100 Physicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, EMT’s, and Athletic Training Students, all of whom volunteer their time. The Bay State Games are seeking volunteers who are willing to support the Games and donate some of their time to assist athletes from across the commonwealth. Medical volunteers are able to volunteer for certain sports, days, and times they wish to work. Bay State Games will provide all necessary medical supplies. Volunteers will also receive a Bay State Game Medical Staff polo shirt, t-shirt, hat, bag and Bay State Games jacket. Medical volunteers will also receive a free entry to the Boston Children's Hopsital Division of Sports Medicine Dr. Lyle Micheli Sports Medicine Symposium on Sunday, September 27.
Each year the Bay State Games relies on dozens of general volunteers to help operate the Summer Games. The Bay State Summer Games allows students to gain experience in the sports industry by volunteering their time to help run Massachusetts' largest amateur athletic festival. If you are interested in being one of these volunteers please fill out the form below.
Filling out the Volunteer Application does not guarentee a volunteer spot. Each year the number of volunteers exceeds the available volunteer positions in the Summer Games. If you are selected as a volunteer you will be contacted by a Bay State Games staff member.
