Divisions 

Junior (Rookie):  Grades 4 - 5 (minimum age of 10)
Junior Novice (Intermediate):  Grades 6 - 8*
Intermediate (Intermediate-Advanced):  Grades 6 - 8
Scholastic Novice (JV):  Grades 9 - 12*
Scholastic (Varsity):  Grades 9 -12
Collegiate:  Current College Student (School ID required at check-in)
Open: Age 19 + (No college student)

All grades are as of the 2018-2019 academic year 

**Novice Division is for participants with limited tournament experience. Anyone who has won a medal or award at a prior event including Bay Sate Games is not eligible for novice

All divisions are separated by male and female 

Eligibility 

An athlete must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • A full time resident of MA, ME, NH, or VT

  • A full time student at a recognized academic institution in any of the above states 

  • A registered member of a shooting club in one of the above states for which you are entering 

Events 

16 yard Singles Trap: 100 targets 

16 yard Doubles Trap: 50 targets 

*Please note that pistol and rifle shooting are separate Bay State Games events and require that athletes fill out separate applications and submit the proper fees. 

State Games of America

 

 




All medalist in this event will qualify for the 2021 State Games of America in Ames and De Moines, Iowa.
