The tournament will have a hard cap of 425 wrestlers, regardless of the division.

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 30 at 11:59pm for ALL divisions OR when the cap of 425 wrestlers is met, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.
**NO ONSITE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN ANY DIVISION. ALL ATHLETES MUST REGISTER ONLINE PRIOR TO THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE
All athletes, regardless of division, must register online at FloWrestling to enter into the tournament.
Eligibility
An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:
- A full-time resident of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, or Vermont.
- A full-time student at a recognized academic institution in one of the above states
- A full-time member of an MA, NH, ME, NY, RI, CT or VT-based Wrestling club

- Boys Junior I: 5th & 6th Grade
- Boys Junior II: 7th & 8th Grade*
- Boys Scholastic: 9th - 11th Grade**
- Girls Scholastic: 8th - 11th Grade **
- Men's Open: 12th Grade and athletes age 19+
- Women's Open: 12th Grade and athletes age 19+
*8th graders (as of the 2025-2026 academic year) may compete in the 7th/8th-grade division OR the Scholastic Division but, NOT BOTH. 8th graders who intend on competing in the scholastic division must register on or before July 5th or they will only have the option of competing in the 7th/8th-grade division.
**Athletes in the Scholastic division must be under age 19. Athletes in the Junior division must be under age 16.
All ages are as of the first day of competition and all grade areas of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Mens Open
Check-in: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

*for those who did not attend a satellite site
Wrestler Meeting: 12:15 p.m.
Start: 12:30 p.m.
*all wrestlers must check in at the registration table prior to weigh in.
Junior Grade 7 & 8
Check-in: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Weigh-in*: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*for those who did not attend a satellite site
Wrestler Meeting: 12:45 p.m.
Start: 1:00 p.m.
*all wrestlers must check in at the registration table prior to weigh in.

- There will be satellite weigh-in sites in Massachusetts and surrounding New England states based on the willingness of clubs to host them.
- Satellite weigh-in’s can be held July 9 & 10
- A list of satellite weigh-in locations will be posted on this website by June 15.
IMPORTANT:
- ALL SCHOLASTIC wreslters MUST attend a satelite weigh-in. There are NO day-of-tournament weigh-ins for scholastic wreslters.
- Open, Junior I and Junior II wrestlers will be allowed to weigh in at satellite weigh-in sites. In addition, Open, Junior I and Junior II wrestlers will have a one-hour window on July 11 at Game On from 11am to 12pm to weigh in. As a reminder, there will be no on-site weigh-in for scholastic wrestlers on July 11 at Game On.

Wrestling Style
- Folkstyle: Boys Junior I, Boys Junior II, Boys Scholastic, Girls Scholastic, Mens Open
- Freestyle: Womens Open
- Bay State Games will use the KAP Wrestling Tournament Management System
- The Commander's Cup presented by The Massachusetts Army National Guard will be given out to the club with the highest overall points.There will be two Commander's Cups awarded, one in the Male Scholastic division & one in the female scholastic division. The Commander's Cups will be awarded immediately following the last match of each division.
- The club with the highest overall participation will be awarded the Club Championship Banner Presented by the Massachusetts Army National Guard. This will be awarded during the pre-competition meeting.
