WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. (January 9, 2025)
– Bay State Games presented the Berkshire Hero Award to a staunch supporter of the Bay State Winter Games on January 4. The 2025 award recipient is the Maple Terrace Motel in Williamstown. The Maple Terrace Motel has long donated rooms for BSG staff, judges, and volunteers while serving as a comfortable and hospitable host for BSG athletes and their families during the Bay State Winter Games Figure Skating competition. With close proximity to the rink, this property has long been filled during BSG weekend and provided country charm in the heart of Williamstown.
Nestled in the heart of Massachusetts' scenic Berkshire Mountains, our inn is a cozy retreat within walking distance of the renowned Clark Art Institute and Williams College, along with other local attractions. Explore the area, with the Lansing Chapman rink just half a mile away and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink a short 14-minute drive.
The Berkshire Hero Award was created in 2008 to recognize individuals, businesses, facilities, and organizations within Berkshire County that go above and beyond to ensure that the Bay State Winter Games are a success.
