Game 1

Metro Come Up Short Against Central

Metro lost to Central 7-2 on Wednesday at Field 1.

Central jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Giada Manolakis tripled, scoring one run, Danielle Sullivan singled, scoring one run, a wild pitch scored one run, Stacey Loram singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Isabella McLaughlin earned the win for Central. The hurler surrendered three hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Sydney Conti took the loss for Metro. The hurler went three innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking three. Loram stepped in the circle first for Central. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking none.

Metro collected eight hits in the game. Mackenzie Kuklentz, Josephine Proskoczilo, Melody Fiore, Sydney Johnson, Taryn Daniel, Laila Drouillard, Madelyn Andrade, and Claire Hauck each collected one hit for Metro. Proskoczilo led Metro with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Metro turned one double play in the game.

Central tallied eight hits in the game. Sullivan and Loram each collected two hits for Central. Loram went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Loram stole two bases. Central ran wild on the base paths, piling up seven stolen bases for the game.

Game 2

Kiley Dolan Leads Southeast Past Northeast

Kiley Dolan collected three hits in three at bats, as Southeast defeated Northeast 10-6 on Wednesday at Field 3. Dolan doubled in the second inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

Northeast opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Northeast first got on the board when Sydney Wells singled, scoring one run.

Southeast took the lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the second thanks to doubles by Dolan, and Molly Pazyra.

Northeast tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a walk by Grace Najarian, and a single by Grace Costa.

In the bottom of the fifth, Southeast broke up the tie when Sienna Powers tripled, scoring three runs. Then a single by Pazyra followed to extend the lead to 10-6.

Elyn Stomberg began the game for Southeast. The starter surrendered 12 hits and six runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Alyson Laing stepped in the circle first for Northeast. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three.

Southeast tallied 11 hits in the game. Powers led Southeast with four runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Pazyra collected two hits for Southeast in four at bats.

Northeast accumulated 12 hits in the game. Chloe Veator, Britton Harding, and Costa each collected two hits for Northeast. Najarian went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.

Game 3

Big Fifth Inning Leads West Past Metro

West scored five runs in the fifth inning, which helped them defeat Metro 9-0 on Wednesday at Field 1.  Jaylianie Santiago singled, scoring one run, Ryanne Dubay tripled, scoring three runs, and Raegan Dubau singled, scoring one run.

West were the first to get on the board in the first when Gianna Capua singled, scoring one run.

West added two runs in the third after Dubay singled down the left field line.

Dubau hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the fourth for the West.

Dubay earned the win for West. The pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking two. Sydney Johnson took the loss for Metro. The hurler went four innings, surrendering seven runs on nine hits, striking out two and walking four. Lexi Hawkins collected the save.

West piled up 13 hits in the game. Dubay drove the middle of the lineup, leading West with five runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Kalin Dubay led West with three hits in three at bats. Santiago, Dubau, and Capua each collected multiple hits for West. West turned one double play in the game. West didn't commit a single error in the field. Dubau had the most chances in the field with eight.

Arielle David, Claire Hauck, and Sydney Conti each collected one hit for Metro. Metro were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Conti made the most plays with nine.

West welcome Central on Wednesday for their next game.

Game 4

Strong Hitting Not Enough As Northeast Falls To Coastal

Even though Northeast collected 12 hits to Coastal's 10, they still fell 11-8 on Wednesday at Field 3. Olivia DiSessa, Britton Harding, Saige Racofsky, and Grace Costa each collected two hits for Northeast.

Coastal got on the board in the top of the first inning after Reese Taylor singled, scoring one run, Taylynn Robinson homered to center field, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, and Riley King singled, scoring two runs.

Northeast scored six runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Costa doubled, scoring two runs, Racofsky singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, DiSessa tripled, scoring one run, and Harding singled, scoring one run.

Abby Noble pitched five and two-thirds innings in relief for Northeast. The hurler allowed seven hits and five runs (four earned) while, striking out three and walking two. Mia Tringale led things off in the circle for Northeast. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and six runs (three earned) over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking one. Taylor stepped in the circle first for Coastal. The hurler surrendered 12 hits and eight runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out 10 and walking none.

Northeast piled up 12 hits in the game. Harding and Costa each drove in two runs for Northeast.

Coastal tallied 10 hits in the game. Robinson drove the middle of the lineup, leading Coastal with four runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Robinson, King, and Taylor each collected two hits for Coastal.

Central With Tough Game Against West

Central couldn't keep up with West and fell 10-0 on Wednesday at Field 1.

West got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Skyler Steele tripled down the right field line, Jaylianie Santiago singled down the left field line, Reygan Horstmann grounded out, and Lexi Hawkins grounded out, each scoring one run.

West added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kalin Dubay singled down the left field line, and Steele grounded out, each scoring one run.

Jaclyn Sullivan stepped in the circle first for Central. The hurler allowed nine hits and 10 runs over four innings, striking out one and walking two. Raelyn Loud opened the game for West. The hurler gave up two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one.

Kaylee Charlton and Stacey Loram each collected one hit for Central. Central were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Olive Morrill had the most chances in the field with five.

West amassed 10 hits in the game. Dubay, Ryanne Dubay, and Steele each collected two hits for West. Steele led West with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. West were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Steele made the most plays with four.

Game 6

Strong Hitting Not Enough As Southeast Falls To Coastal

Southeast fell 9-6 to Coastal on Wednesday at Field 3 despite out-hitting them 10 to eight. Ryleigh Atkinson and Sienna Powers each collected two hits for Southeast.

Coastal got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Gabrielle Cross grounded out, scoring one run, Riley King drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

A play extended the Coastal lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the third inning.

Southeast scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. Elyn Stomberg singled, scoring one run, Powers homered to right field, scoring three runs, and Atkinson doubled, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fifth, Coastal broke up the tie when an error scored two runs. Then a sacrifice bunt by Mackenzie Roberts followed to extend the lead to 9-6.

Stomberg pitched four innings in relief for Southeast. The pitcher surrendered five hits and four runs (one earned) while, striking out five and walking four. Jade Dedominici started in the circle for Southeast. The starter gave up three hits and five runs (four earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking four. Kaylee Gendron started in the circle for Coastal. The pitcher surrendered 10 hits and six runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out eight and walking none.

Southeast accumulated 10 hits in the game. Powers led Southeast with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day.

Coastal collected eight hits in the game. Erin Gunn and Gendron were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Coastal. Leah Worthley led Coastal with two runs batted in.  Coastal had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Taylynn Robinson, King, and Ella OKeefe led the team with two walks each. Gunn stole two bases.

Game 7

Giada Manolakis Has Lots Of Hits But Central Fall To Southeast

Giada Manolakis collected three hits in three at bats, but Central lost to Southeast 10-7 on Wednesday at Field 1. Manolakis tripled in the second inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Southeast got on the board in the first inning after Ryleigh Atkinson singled, scoring one run.

Southeast added one run in the third. Gabrielle Richardson doubled to center field, making the score 2-0.

Danielle Sullivan grounded out, which helped Central tie the game at two in the top of the fifth.

Southeast flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring seven runs on six hits to take the lead, 9-2. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two.

Kiley Dolan earned the win for Southeast. The pitcher gave up eight hits and seven runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking two. Stacey Loram took the loss for Central. The starter went six innings, giving up 10 runs (five earned) on 13 hits, striking out two and walking none.

Central tallied eight hits in the game. Sullivan led Central with three runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup.

Southeast collected 13 hits in the game. Atkinson, Richardson, Sydney Cull, Jade Dedominici, and Molly Pazyra each collected two hits for Southeast. Atkinson, Dolan, Richardson, and Dedominici each drove in two runs for Southeast.

Close Game Between West And Coastal Ends In Tie

West and Coastal tied 4-4 on Wednesday at Field 3.

Coastal got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Taylynn Robinson doubled down the right field line, and Kaylee Gendron singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Coastal added one run in the third. Gendron doubled down the left field line, making the score 3-0.

Raelyn Loud singled down the right field line, which helped West tie the game at four in the top of the seventh.

Lexi Hawkins pitched four innings in relief for West. The hurler allowed five hits and one run while, striking out none and walking one. Ryanne Dubay began the game for West. Game 9

Late Score Costs Central After Late Charge From Northeast

Thursday's game against Northeast was a heartbreaker for Central, as they lost the lead late in a 10-9 defeat at Field 1. The game was tied at nine in the top of the sixth when Emmalynn Proia grounded out, scoring one run.

Central fell behind by four runs in the second inning, but then tried to fight back. Central closed the gap by scoring on a double, a double, a single, a single, a single, a sacrifice fly, and a single.

Northeast jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Proia doubled, scoring one run, and Grace Costa grounded out, scoring two runs.

A line out by Grace Najarian extended the Northeast lead to 4-0 in the top of the second inning.

Central flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on six hits to take the lead, 5-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Olive Morrill that drove in two.

Northeast captured the lead, 10-9, in the top of the sixth after Central committed an error, and Proia grounded out, each scoring one run.

Coastal Defeat Metro Behind Strong Performance From Kaylee Gendron

Kaylee Gendron struck out 11 batters as the hurler led Coastal past Metro 20-2 on Thursday at Field 3. Gendron surrendered five hits and two runs over six innings while walking none.

Mia Abren collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Abren singled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Coastal were the first to get on the board in the second when Riley King grounded out, scoring one run.

Taryn Daniel singled down the right field line on an 0-2 count, which helped Metro tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

In the top of the third, Coastal broke up the tie when an error scored one run. Then a single by Gendron followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

Ella OKeefe, Taylor, and Gunn each collected multiple hits for Coastal. OKeefe paced Coastal with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. OKeefe and Taylor each stole multiple bases for Coastal. Coastal ran wild on the base paths, collecting seven stolen bases for the game.

Daniel led Metro with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The center fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Sydney Johnson, Daniel, Conti, Abby Davis, and Kathryn Andrade each collected one hit for Metro.

Southeast Victorious Over West

Southeast bested West 7-5 on Thursday at Field 3.

Southeast were the first to get on the board in the first when Gabrielle Richardson singled, scoring one run.

Skyler Steele doubled down the left field line on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped West tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Southeast took the lead in the top of the third. Molly Pazyra homered to center field, scoring two runs, to give Southeast the upper hand, 3-1.

West tied the game up in the bottom of the third thanks to two doubles. West tied the game at three on a double by Steele.

In the top of the fifth, Southeast broke up the tie when Pazyra singled, scoring one run. Then a single by Sydney Cull followed to extend the lead to 7-3.

Grace Najarian's Strong Eye Leads Northeast Past Metro

Grace Najarian showed a strong eye at the plate on Thursday, as Najarian walked three times while leading Northeast to an 11-0 victory over Metro.

Northeast got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Najarian drew a walk, scoring one run, Sydney Wells doubled, scoring two runs, Grace Costa singled, scoring one run, and Saige Racofsky grounded out, scoring one run.

Northeast scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Aleena Brown doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, an error scored one run, and Najarian doubled, scoring two runs.

Game Goes Down To The Wire As Northeast Loses To West On Final Play

Northeast fell to West 6-5 on Thursday at Devens on the final play of the game. West were down 5-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Raegan Dubau homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Northeast lost despite out-hitting West eight to five. Olivia DiSessa and Grace Costa each collected three hits for Northeast.

Northeast got on the board in the top of the second inning after Aleena Brown doubled to center field, and DiSessa singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Skyler Steele doubled down the left field line, which helped West tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.

Northeast took the lead in the top of the fifth. An error scored one run, to give Northeast the edge, 3-2.

West jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Northeast committed an error, and Steele doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Costa hit an inside the park home run, which helped Northeast tie the game at four in the top of the sixth.

A single by Costa gave Northeast the lead, 5-4, in the top of the eighth.
