8:30 AM - GAME #1 - Metro/Northeast v Central 


Final Score: Metro/Northeast - 0, Central - 3


Central’s 3 goals were scored by rising senior Elly Schofer (12) adding two goals with assists from Makenna Pustis (1) and Makenzie Casey (2). Rising sophomore Bella Baltramaitis (7) had the other goal for Central with an assist from Maia Tatum (15). 

 

10:00 AM - GAME #2 - Southeast v Coastal 


Final Score: Southeast - 2, Coastal - 2


Both Southeast goals were scored by rising junior, Ella Morgan (16) with assists from Elyse Bissada (1) & Libby Baxter (12). For Coastal, Adeline Finlaw (14) (2026) added a goal and an assist with the second Coastal goal coming from rising junior Ella Hyland (14).


12:00 PM - GAME #3 - Central v West


Final Score: Central - 4, West - 2


Central doubled up West with two goals from rising junior Makenzie Casey (2) and one goal each from rising senior Elly Schofer (12) and rising sophomore Isabelle Stanley (4), who also had an assist in the win. West’s two goals were scored by Haly Doucette-Kaplan (1) & Guliana Gauthier (11).


1:30 PM - GAME #4 - Southeast v Metro/Northeast


Final Score: Southeast - 10, Metro/Northeast - 0


The Southeast attack exploded with rising juniors Ella Marzullo (18) & Ella Morgan (16) having four and three goals, respectively. Morgan (16) also added three assists on the day. Elyse Bissada (1), Libby Baxter (12), and Rylan Mckillop (15) all rounded out the scoring with a goal each, with both Baxter (12) and Mckillop (15) also adding one assist each. 


3:00 PM - GAME #5 - Coastal v West


Final Score: Coastal - 3, West - 4


West edged out Coastal in a close and competitive battle led by Guliana Gauthier (11) finding the back of the net twice. Haly Doucette-Kaplan (1) and Kendall Placzek (7) recorded the other two goals for West. Henley Gilstrap (6) and Gloria McDonald (17) tallied the assists for West. For Coastal, Adeline Finlaw (2) recorded two goals with the third coming from Ella Hyland (14). 


Saturday, July 12th - 


8:30 AM - GAME #6 - Southeast v Central

 

Final Score: Southeast - 5, Central - 2


Southeast was led by Ella Morgan (16) scoring two goals and Ella Marzullo (18) having one goal and assist. Rising sophomore Abby Presley (2) and rising junior Shannon Lane (10) both added one goal and one assist each in the win, and the scoring was rounded out by an assist from Libby Baxter (12). For Central, both Charlotte Bacon (6) and Elly Schofer (12) each scored a goal.



10:00 AM - GAME #7 - Metro/Northeast v Coastal


Final Score: Metro/Northeast - 0, Coastal - 7


Coastal had a balanced attack led by Adeline Finlaw (2) with three goals and one assist, while Ella Vaught (1), Caroline Houdelette (3), Breanna Averia (12), and Ella Hyland (14) each added one goal. Hyland (14) and rising sophomore Addyson Spencer each tallied an assist in the win.



12:00 PM - GAME #8 - Southeast v West

 

Final Score: Southeast - 4, West - 1


Southeast's four goals came from Tayla McDuff (6), Shannon Lane (10), Kristen Barry (11), Ella Morgan (16). Lane (10) also exploded for three assists. West’s lone goal was scored by rising junior Alyssa DaSilva (8), assisted by fellow rising junior Lily Charest (18).


1:30 PM - GAME #9 - Central v Coastal 


Final Score: Central - 5, Coastal - 3


Central edged Coastal in a close battle led by Elly Schofer (12), who had two goals and one assist. Central’s scoring was rounded out by Makenzie Casey (2), Gianna Candelaria (8), and Payton Lavigueur (10) each contributing one goal in the win. The Coastal offense was led by Adeline Finlaw (2) who found the back of the net three times with assists coming from Ella Vaught (1) and Breanna Averio (12).



3:00 PM - GAME #10 - West v Metro/Northeast 


Final Score: West - 4, Metro/Northeast - 0


Both Haly Doucette-Kaplan (1) and Gloria McDonald (17) tallied one goal each with two and one assists, respectively, in West’s shutout win. Kendall Placzek (7) recorded two goals, with Giuliana Gauthier (11) recording the last assist.

Sunday, July 13th - 


10:00 AM - GAME #11 - West (#3) v Coastal (#4) * BRONZE MEDAL GAME


Final Score: West - 3, Coastal - 2 (SO)


In a thrilling bronze medal matchup, West edged out Coastal 3-2 in a nail-biting finish that came down to a 1v1 shootout. With back and forth goals, Ella Hyland (14)  scored both goals for Coastal with Ella Vaught (1) adding an assist. West responded with goals by Alyssa DaSilva (8) and Giuliana Gauthier (11) with Henley Gilstrap (6) adding an assist.  After a scoreless overtime, West held their nerve in the shootout, with the winning shot coming from rising senior Giuliana Gauthier (11) and class of 2027 goalie,  Kelsey Blais (0) made crucial saves to clinch the win and secure the bronze.


12:00 PM - GAME #12 -  Southeast (#1) v Central (#2) *GOLD MEDAL GAME


Final Score: Southeast - 2, Central  - 0


Southeast claimed the gold medal with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Central in a close and competitive final. Both teams battled intensely throughout the match, with rising junior Shannon Lane (10) scoring both goals for Southeast and rising junior Tayla McDuff (6) adding an assist on the day to lead Southeast to the win.

WOBURN – Pat Connaughton (Basketball/Baseball), Brian Harris (Basketball/Softball Coach), and Ada Korkhin (Pistol Shooting) have been selected for induction into the 2025 Bay State Games' Hall of Fame. The inductees will receive their award at a pre-game ceremony at Fenway Park on Friday, June 27 prior to the Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Bay State Games Hall of Fame was created to recognize past participants who have gone on to prestigious and successful athletic careers, as well as former and current coaches, officials, sports organizers, and volunteers who have made significant contributions to the organization throughout its 38-year history. Past inductees among the over 60 previous honorees include the NBA’s Dana Barros (`06), Tom Thibodeau ('17) and the late Reggie Lewis (`02); WNBA’s Rebecca Lobo (’03), the NHL’s Bill Guerin ('09) and Keith Yandle ('14); Major League Baseball’s Carlos Pena ('11) and Rich Hill ('13); Olympians Nancy Kerrigan ('07), Jim Pedro (’04) and Bill Cleary ('14) as well as US Paralympic Gold Medalist Joe Lemar (’15). “The Hall of Fame has been a great way to recognize the many Bay State Games alumni who have gone on to prestigious athletic careers as well as those organizers and officials who have contributed to our success over the last four decades” said Kevin Cummings, the Bay State Games Executive Director. “It is an honor to recognize this year’s class that includes an NBA Champion, a US Olympic team member and a volunteer coach of over thirty years”. PAT CONNAUGHTON - BASKETBALL/BASEBALL Pat Connaughton was a two sport Bay State Games athlete in both Basketball and Baseball. In high school at St. John’s Prep, he earned the Massachusetts Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year Award. After an illustrious basketball and baseball career at the University of Notre Dame, Pat led the Irish to its only Men’s Basketball Conference Championship in the ACC. Pat was selected in the MLB draft in 2014 and NBA draft in 2015. In 2021 he became an NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks. Beyond the court, Pat is Co-Founder and CEO of real estate development company, Three Leaf Partners, headquartered in Milwaukee and he started the Pat Connaughton Foundation in 2016 based on the pillars of - courts, clinics, and character. BRIAN HARRIS - BASKETBALL / SOFTBALL COACH A lifelong resident of Somerville, Brian has volunteered as a Bay State Games coach in both girls basketball and softball for over thirty years. Brian is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Harvard Law School. He spent over three decades serving at the Somerville District Court. Brian is involved with several youth organizations and serves as board president of the Somerville YMCA. Brian has built an extraordinary coaching legacy across high school basketball and softball, amassing over 500 varsity wins and earning numerous Coach of the Year honors. ADA KORKHIN - PISTOL SHOOTING Ada Korkhin from Brookline, competed at the Bay State Games in Pistol Shooting. She also served as a Bay State Games Ambassador at Brookline High School. At the age of 14, Ada started competing internationally with trips that included events in Buenos Aires, South Korea and Egypt. She has medaled at multiple world and US events. At the age of nineteen, Ada made her Olympic debut as a member of the US Pistol Shooting team in Paris. She is currently a member of the Ohio State University shooting team where she is studying biochemistry. On May 5, Jenny Pizza was awarded the Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship at the 2025 McCormack Department of Sport Management Awards Banquet. Jenny is a freshman at UMass Amherst. She is originally from New Jersey and chose to attend UMass to pursue her passion for sports and management at the Isenberg School of Management. On campus, Jenny serves as a manager for the UMass Women's Basketball team and is active in Women in Sports Management (WISM). Her dream is work for the New York Yankees and hopes to work toward gender equality in every aspect of the sports industry. The Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship was established by Bay State Games and UMass Amherst in memory of Kristian Rose, who was tragically killed in an auto accident during his Bay State Games internship. This scholarship is open to Sport Management students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with preference given to students with community service experience, and financial need. Bay State Games is excited to announce an expansion to their partnership with MA Army National Guard as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 Bay State Games Wrestling tournament and a supporter of many additional sports. The 2025 Bay State Summer Games Wrestling Competition Presented by Massachusetts Army National Guard will take place Saturday, July 12 at Game On in Fitchburg. Wrestling athletes who finish in the top 3 will be awarded a special custom medal unique from other BSG medals. A new 2025 Bay State Summer Games Commander's Cup Presented by MA Army National Guard trophy will be presented at the conclusion of the tournament to the top performing club. MA Army National Guard will be onsite throughout the wrestling competition, which coincides with numerous Bay State Games tournaments at Game On in Fitchburg on the same day. MA Army National Guard will be onsite at various competitions for many fun and informative activations. Events they will be present at include Trap Shooting on Saturday, May 17 at North Leominster Rod & Gun Club in Lunenburg; Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Archery on Saturday, July 12 at Game On in Fitchburg; Track & Field on Saturday, July 19 at Regis College in Weston; and Rugby on Saturday, July 26 at Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership in 2025 with the MA Army National Guard and are looking forward to the many ways they will enhance the overall athlete and spectator experience during the 2025 Bay State Summer Games,” said Bay State Games Director of Operations, Alanis Tirabassi. “Through this partnership we will be able to incorporate some new and exciting activations, promotions, and awards through many of the Bay State Summer Games events with a focal point on the 2025 Wrestling competition and the weekend at Game On in Fitchburg.” “The Massachusetts Army National Guard is proud to collaborate with the Bay State Games, united by a mission to forge toughness, build character, and elevate excellence through personal growth, physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship,” said Lieutenant Colonel Brent S. Bay State Games athletes excel on AND off the field! BSG Field Hockey athlete and current sophomore at BMC Durfee High School recently published her first novel, "In the Game." "In the Game" is a teen/young adult action/romance novel based in Paris, France. Synopsis: Colette Toussaint is no stranger to hard work. After being pulled out of a public high school in the tenth grade and thrown into a rigorous training program via her parents’ agency, Colette was forced to ditch a normal life and focus on saving the world as a spy... All at the grand age of sixteen. And now, two years later, on the cusp of adulthood, she feels like she’s finally getting the hang of things. That is, until a video call by her best friend and future heir of the company, Jean-Luc, reveals to her that she’s definitely not. Colette’s entire perception of herself is flipped upside down; how is she supposed to finish the mission with knowledge of the inevitable? Fabian Ardila is the Bay State Games Southeast Girls Volleyball Head Coach, Owner of MGA Volleyball, and an Assistant Coach of the Women's Volleyball team at Babson College. Fabian has many years coaching at the high school, club, and college level and sat down with the Bay State Games Ambassadors to discuss the college recruiting process.
