Game 1 Northeast v Central: Girls 9:00 on Thursday July 10


Northeast powered to a 6-1 win over Central in girls soccer action. Central’s lone goal came from #19 Kalli White, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Northeast’s dynamic offense. Northeast’s goals came from #7 Addison McCafferty, #16 Brooke Hagerty, #3 Kylie Geary (assisted by #2 Kylie Seitz), #12 Cordelia Zwirek (assisted by both #1 Mia Sanchez and #10 Stella Cass), and #9 Ava Damiani (assisted by #18 Siena Hesbach). Northeast controlled the match with sharp passing and strong finishes to cap off an impressive performance.


Game 2 Coastal v West: Girls 9:00 on Thursday July 10


Coastal came out on top in a high-scoring 6-3 win over West in girls soccer action. West’s goals came from #4 Addison Perich (assisted by #8 Lylia Ellis), #9 Kyra Lippman (unassisted), and #1 Monique Fredette (assisted by #12 Kylie Warner). Coastal responded with a balanced offensive attack, including goals from #3 Molly Houghton (assisted by #8 Mackenzie Pires), #10 Emily Fernandes (assisted by #9 Erin Gustaitis), #5 Hannah Slavin (assisted by #10 Emily Fernandes), #7 Layla Venancio, #2 Avianna Andrade, and #11 Samantha Souza (assisted by #2 Avianna Andrade). Both teams showed strong attacking play, but Coastal’s depth and finishing made the difference.


Game 3 Central v West: Girls 12:30 on Thursday July 10


West rolled to a 6-1 victory over Central in girls soccer action. West’s scoring was spread out, with goals from #12 Kylie Warner (who scored twice), #5 Hannah Haesaert, #4 Addison Perich, #15 Kate Moccio, and #6 Willow Claps, who found the net off an assist from #17 Kilee Trajkovski. Central’s lone goal came from #19 Kalli White. West controlled much of the match with consistent offensive pressure and solid team play.


Game 4 Southeast v Coastal: Girls 12:30 on Thursday July 10


Coastal earned a commanding 4-0 win over Southeast in girls soccer play. Goals came from #7 Aryanna Secia and #5 Noa Beaudry, with #13 Paige Duggan scoring off an assist from #2 Skyla Slott and #5 Noa Beaudry adding her second of the game, also assisted by #2 Skyla Slott. Coastal controlled the tempo throughout the match with strong possession and teamwork. Southeast continued to compete but couldn’t break through Coastal’s solid defense.


Game 5 Northeast v West: Girls 9:00 on Friday July 11


Northeast claimed a 5-2 win over West in girls soccer action. Northeast’s attack was led by #7 Kayleen Sullivan, who scored twice with assists from #9 Kyra Lippman and #8 Lylia Ellis. #16 Brooke Hagerty and #13 Genevieve Bilotti each added a goal to round out the scoring for Northeast. West’s offense was highlighted by a goal from #15 Kate Moccio.


Game 6 Central v Southeast: Girls 9:00 on Friday July 11


Southeast edged out Central 4-3 in a thrilling girls soccer match. Central’s #19 Kalli White led the way with two unassisted goals, while #15 Sofia Pellerin added another off an assist from #18 Grace Sherman. Southeast’s scoring was spread out, with #14 Gianna Baldner-Thorne netting two goals — one assisted by #5 Noa Beaudry and one unassisted — while #4 Marissa Duff and #19 Sophea Souza each added a goal of their own. Both teams showcased strong offensive efforts in a closely contested game.


Game 7 Central v Coastal: Girls 12:30 on Friday July 11


Coastal delivered a dominant performance with a 6-0 win over Central in girls soccer action. #1 Namiko Traore led the scoring with a hat trick, while additional goals came from #2 Avianna Andrade, #12 Nora Grabowski, and #15 Payton Fiumara. Coastal controlled possession throughout the match and kept Central’s offense in check. It was a complete team effort that led Coastal to victory.


Game 8 Southeast v Northeast: Girls 12:30 on Friday July 11


Northeast earned a 4-2 win over Southeast in a competitive girls soccer match. Northeast’s scoring came from #4 Mica Niles, #8 Bella DeOliveira, #2 Kylie Seitz, and #1 Mia Sanchez, showcasing a well-rounded offensive effort. Southeast responded with goals from #5 Noa Beaudry and #1 Nicole Constantino assisted by #5 Noa Beaudry, but couldn’t close the gap. The match was intense throughout, with Northeast’s #6 Ava Peckham receiving a yellow card.


Game 9 West v Southeast: Girls 9:00 on Saturday July 12


West rolled to a 6-1 victory over Southeast in girls soccer action. West’s scoring came from six different players: #4 Addison Perich, #5 Hannah Haesaert, #6 Willow Claps, #16 Kylie Marino, #9 Kyra Lippman, and #17 Kilee Trajkovski, showcasing their depth and offensive power. Southeast’s lone goal came from #2 Skyla Slott. The match saw physical play at times, with a yellow card issued to West’s #13 Gabriella Ramos.


Game 10 Coastal v Northeast: Girls 9:00 on Saturday July 12


Coastal secured a 3-0 win over Northeast in girls soccer with a strong all-around performance. Goals came from #2 Avianna Andrade, #5 Hannah Slavin, and #3 Molly Houghton, as Coastal controlled the pace of the match from start to finish. Northeast battled throughout but couldn’t break through Coastal’s defense. With the win, Coastal capped off an impressive showing on both ends of the field.


Girls Gold Game Coastal v Northeast 12:30 on Saturday July 12


Coastal defeated Northeast 2-1 in a hard-fought girls gold medal soccer match. Coastal’s #2 Avianna Andrade was the standout, scoring both goals to lead her team to victory. Northeast’s only goal came from #12 Cordelia Zwirek, assisted by #2 Kylie Seitz, but the team couldn't find the equalizer. Both sides battled hard, but Coastal held on to claim the gold.


Girls Bronze Game Southeast v West 12:30 on Saturday July 12


West claimed the bronze medal in the girls soccer tournament with a commanding 3-0 win over Southeast. West controlled the pace of the game from start to finish, showcasing strong teamwork and solid defense. Despite the scoreline, Southeast continued to fight hard and

showed resilience until the final whistle.

Fall edition of the B.A.A. Gives Back Grant Program awards $125,000 to local non-profit organizations

The Bay State Games has selected six statewide scholarship recipients for the 2025 Future Leaders Scholarship Program. These student-athletes were selected from a large applicant pool after a process that included committee reviews of all applications and virtual interviews with selected applicants. These future leaders were selected based on their achievements and involvement in academics, community service, athletics, and leadership roles. The Bay State Games Future Leaders Scholarship program was established in 1989 and has since distributed nearly $400,000 in financial aid. Each of these high school seniors will receive a $1,000 scholarship for their first year of college. “Bay State Games is proud to continue the Future Leaders Scholarship program which since 1989 has provided over $400,000 in aid to support the continuing education of outstanding young leaders." said Kevin Cummings, Executive Director of the Bay State Games. “These well deserving student-athletes have excelled in the classroom, on the field and in the community, representing a variety of schools, sports and regions across Massachusetts” This year’s six scholarship recipients are Elyse Bissada, Brooke Blahut, Abigail Howie, Olivia Laaper, Sabina Mackechnie, Molly McIntyre. Elyse Bissada is a senior at Dover-Sherborn High School, where she is a four-year varsity field hockey and track & field athlete, as well as the team captain for both sports. In 2025, Elyse was a member of the Bay State Games Southeast field hockey team where she won a gold medal. Elyse is the founder of the Veterinary Medicine Club at her school and in her free time volunteers at local farms and Animal Rescue Leagues across the state. Elyse has committed to play field hockey and study biology at Hamilton College, where she plans to pursue veterinary medicine and ultimately establish an affordable low-cost clinic that serves her community. Brooke Blahut is a senior at North Quincy High School where she is a 4-year varsity member of the soccer team, and captain of the varsity ice hockey team. Brooke is also a well accomplished figure skater. She began skating at age 2 at Winterland Skating School and is now a U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist. Brooke has participated in Bay State Games annually since 2016, medaled 6 times, and is a 4-year Bay State Games High School Ambassador. Brooke is also the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Ambassador for NQHS. Brooke is Vice President of her class, a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society and academically ranks in the top 5% of her class with a 4.6 GPA. Brooke is a two-time team leader and participant in the FBI Teen Leadership Academy and plans to pursue her master’s in forensic science and criminology and become an FBI Special Agent. Abigail Howie is a senior at Wilmington High School, where she is on the varsity soccer team and is captain of the Winter and Spring Track teams. Abigail serves as President of Student Council and the Wildcat Service Council, where she founded the “Bridging Generations” community initiative. She is a member of the National Honor Society, DECA, and Best Buddies. Abigail coaches a Wilmington fourth-grade team and is a USSF-certified soccer referee. She has most recently created an Alzheimer's Awareness community service project for her senior year. She hopes to continue her athletic career in college while studying sports management and marketing. Olivia Laaper resides in Stow and is a senior at Fusion Academy in Burlington. Laaper has been a captain of multiple high school sports teams including Track & Field and Swimming. Olivia is captain of her archery team at Riverside Archers and has won multiple medals in archery at Bay State Games and state competitions. Beyond athletics, Olivia has gained hands-on experience in emergency medicine as a high school intern with Pro EMS and plans to take her EMT certification this fall. She gives back to her community by lifeguarding and coaching youth swimming at Goldfish Swim School, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and at local food banks. In college, Olivia plans to pursue a degree in nursing with a minor in emergency medicine and psychology. Sabina Mackechnie is a senior at East Longmeadow High School where she is a three sport athlete and captain in Soccer, Basketball and Lacrosse. She has earned all-league and second-team All-Western Mass honors in soccer and lacrosse. Sabina has been a By State Games Ambassador for two years and is a member of her school's Athletic Leadership Council and Pink Ribbon Club. Sabina participates in canned food drives and fundraisers for her school sports teams. Sabina will continue her lacrosse career at Springfield College while pursuing a degree in Education. Molly McIntyre is a senior at Norton High School where she is a three-sport captain in cross country, basketball, and outdoor track, earning multiple TVL All-Star honors, and MVP awards. Molly serves in key leadership roles on Student Council, DECA, Best Buddies, and five National Honor Societies. She volunteers at local youth sports programs, community events, and the MSG Gregory Trent Foundation. Molly works part-time at a donut shop and local ice cream store.
