Game 1


Southeast Ousted Central In Opening Game 5-1

Central opened the scoring in the third after a passed ball scored one run.


Southeast captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third after Kiley Dolan hit a sacrifice fly, and Southeast scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.


Two more Southeast runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 4-1. Brooke Wilson hit a solo home run to left field, and Taylor Kotch singled, scoring one run.


Shay Rexrode started the game for Southeast. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out two and walking two. Kheira Ashey began the game for Central. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking two.


Sydney Cull, Wilson, Kotch, and Dolan each collected one hit for Southeast. Wilson and Dolan each drove in one run for Southeast. Wilson stole two bases.


Sienna Stawiecki, Julia Grebinar, and Addison Scoble each collected one hit for Central. Central turned one double play in the game.

Game 2


Northeast Edged Out Metro With A 2-1 Victory, Thanks To Timely Hitting And Smart Base Running

The scoring open in the bottom of the 4th when Harding sparked the offense with a single. She quickly stole second, setting the stage for Disessa, who delivered a clutch double to drive in the game’s first run and give Northeast a 1-0 lead.


Metro responded with a single by Spector in the top of the 5th, followed up by Goncalves hitting a single and both Spector and Goncalves stole leaving runners at 2nd and 3rd no outs. Drouillard hits a sac fly towards center to score Spector to tie the game 1-1.


In the bottom of the 6th, LaFontaine walks and moves to second off of a single from Tringale, and scores from second off of a single from Veator. 


Northeast hold off Metro by a final score of 2-1.

Game 3


Bats Stymied For Both Teams As West Loses To Coastal

Both teams were strong in the circle , but Coastal was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-0 victory over West. Reilly McCauley started the game for West and recorded 17 outs.


Coastal got on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning after Ivy Mattos doubled, scoring two runs, and Marissa Kelly grounded out, scoring one run.


McCauley opened the game for West. The hurler allowed 10 hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking none. Reese Taylor stepped in the circle first for Coastal. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and zero runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out 10 and walking one.


Leadoff hitter Alexina Lentes led West with two hits in two at bats. Lentes and Kalin Dubay each stole multiple bases for West. West turned two double plays in the game. West were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Emma Maurer had the most chances in the field with six.


Coastal accumulated 10 hits in the game. Mattos drove the middle of the lineup, leading Coastal with two runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-3 on the day. Emma Thibedeau collected two hits for Coastal in three at bats. Coastal turned one double play in the game. Coastal were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Thibedeau made the most plays with 10.

Game 4


Metro and Southeast Went Back And Forth All Game In A 5-5 Tie

Dolan got it started with a walk in the top of the first, Wilson ended up hitting into a fielders choice where Dolan was safe at second Wilson was out at first. With 2 outs in the inning Pazyra comes up to bat and she ends up walking. Dolan ends up scoring after an error on the pitcher scores Dolan to make the game 1-0. 


Metro end up responding quickly with run of there own in the bottom of the first Maddie got it started with a walk and then stole second, she scored on a double by Hamel, Hamel then ends up scoring on a Fielders Choice RBI by Kutchta to make the score 2-1 Metro. 


Rexrode got it started in top of the 6th inning with a single and an error on the pitcher and first basemen. Dennis reached on an error by the catcher to Rexrode on second and Dennis on first. Foxconn then gets hit by the pitch to make bases loaded. Ahluwalia hit a single to score Lilly and Dennis. Dolan then hits a double to score Fosco and Ahluwalia to make the score 5-2.


In the bottom of the 7th Drouillard gets hit by the pitch, which sends up Dahl she reached on error by the second basemen, where she reached second, with Hamel up to plate with 2 outs she hits a single to score both Drouillard and Dahl to make the score 5-4. Conti comes up to the plates hits a double to score Hamel.


The game ends up tied after 7 innings 5-5.

Coastal Triumph over Central 5-3

A single by Alyssa Burdzel put Central on the board in the bottom of the first.


Marissa Kelly tripled to center field following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped Coastal tie the game at two in the top of the third.


Central took the lead in the bottom of the third. Paige King singled, scoring one run, to give Central the advantage, 3-2.


Coastal jumped into the lead in the top of the sixth when Ella Okeefe singled, scoring two runs, and Emma Thibedeau grounded out, scoring one run.


Kaylee Magnan began the game for Coastal. The pitcher allowed six hits and three runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Jaclyn Sullivan stepped in the circle first for Central. The hurler allowed seven hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Reese Taylor threw three innings of scoreless ball for Coastal in relief. The pitcher allowed one hit, striking out five and walking three.


Coastal amassed eight hits in the game. Leah Worthley and Okeefe were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Coastal. Okeefe and Kelly each drove in two runs for Coastal.


Burdzel provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Central with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Sierra Lopes led Central with two hits in two at bats.

West Takes Late Lead And Defeats Northeast

West snatched the lead late in their 4-3 victory over Northeast on Tuesday. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the sixth when Grace Julieano hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.


Northeast opened the scoring in the fourth after Madison LIlley tripled, scoring two runs.


Angelina Leone doubled down the left field line, which helped West tie the game at two in the bottom of the fourth.


A single by Lila Areias gave Northeast the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fifth.


West took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after Jaylianie Santiago singled down the left field line, and Julieano hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.


Mia Shaw opened the game for West. The pitcher gave up four hits and two runs (zero earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Caitlin LaFontaine began the game for Northeast. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and four runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out seven and walking none. Reilly McCauley appeared in relief for West.


Leone provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led West with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Skyler Steele went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead West in hits. Alexina Lentes stole two bases.


Northeast accumulated nine hits in the game. Lilley led Northeast with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Olivia DiSessa, Areias, and Lilley each collected two hits for Northeast.

Game 7


Bottom Of The Lineup Carries Central Past Metro

The bottom of the lineup helped Central capture a 9-7 victory over Metro on Wednesday at Field 2. Lillian Grebinar and Sienna Stawiecki combined for four of the team's seven hits in the victory. They scored three runs and drove in one.


Central came back to win despite trailing 7-0 in the third.


Metro got on the board in the top of the first inning after Brianna Arzuaga singled down the right field line, Anna Kuchta grounded out, Allie Hesik singled to center field, and Zoe Spector singled up the middle, each scoring one run.


Metro extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to home runs by Nora Hamel and Kuchta.


Central scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning. Morgan Lucas grounded out, scoring one run, Zoe Chila drew a walk, scoring one run, Kaylee Charlton tripled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.


Stawiecki hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Central tie the game at seven in the bottom of the fourth.


Central took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Charlton singled down the right field line, and Metro committed an error, each scoring one run.


Giana Colon pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Central. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs while, striking out four and walking one. Jaclyn Sullivan opened the game for Central. The pitcher allowed seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out none and walking one. Hamel led things off in the circle for Metro. The starter surrendered four hits and five runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one.


Grebinar, Charlton, and Stawiecki each collected two hits for Central. Charlton led Central with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-2 on the day.


Metro amassed nine hits in the game. Hamel and Sydney Conti were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Metro while hitting back-to-back. Kuchta drove the middle of the lineup, leading Metro with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day.

Close Game Between Southeast And Northeast Ends In Tie

Southeast and Northeast tied 5-5 on Wednesday at Field 2. 


Southeast were the first to get on the board in the first when Brooke Wilson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.


Northeast jumped back into the lead in the top of the second inning after Britton Harding doubled down the left field line, and Chloe Veator singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.


Southeast jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Shay Rexrode singled to center field, Taylor Kotch grounded into a fielder's choice, and Sienna Powers doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.


Northeast took the lead in the top of the fifth. Sydney Wells doubled, scoring three runs, to give Northeast the leg up, 5-4.


Rexrode grounded out, which helped Southeast tie the game at five in the bottom of the seventh.


Rexrode stepped in the circle first for Southeast. The hurler surrendered nine hits and five runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out one and walking five. Lindsay Stuart started the game for Northeast. The pitcher gave up six hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking none.


Southeast tallied eight hits in the game. Powers led Southeast with three hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. Wilson stole two bases.


Northeast amassed nine hits in the game. Emmalynn Proia, Wells, and Veator each collected two hits for Northeast. Wells went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Northeast worked the count all day, tallying five walks. Northeast turned one double play in the game.

Santiago drove the middle of the lineup, leading West with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Leadoff hitter Alexina Lentes led West with two hits in three at bats. Skyler Steele stole two bases. West turned one double play in the game.

Britton Harding drove in four runs on three hits to lead Northeast past Coastal 9-0 on Wednesday at Field 2. Harding doubled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, scoring two.


Northeast won thanks in part to six runs in the second inning.  an error scored one run, Harding doubled, scoring two runs, Lila Areias doubled, scoring one run, and Emmalynn Proia doubled, scoring two runs.


A fielder's choice by Sydney Wells put Northeast on the board in the bottom of the first.


Northeast scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth on a home run to left field by Harding.


Mia Tringale started the game for Northeast. The starter surrendered five hits and zero runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two. Madeleine Pineault stepped in the circle first for Coastal. The starter surrendered six hits and seven runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two.


Northeast tallied 10 hits in the game. Wells collected two hits for Northeast in four at bats.


Kaylee Magnan, Ivy Mattos, Reese Haskell, Reese Taylor, and Erin Gunn each collected one hit for Coastal.

West defeated Central 10-2 on Wednesday at Field 1 thanks in part to eight runs in the second inning.  a wild pitch scored one run, Kalin Dubay singled, scoring one run, Kheira Ashey induced Alexina Lentes to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Skyler Steele singled, scoring two runs, and Grace Julieano homered to center field, scoring three runs.


Central opened the scoring in the first after Addison Scoble grounded out, scoring one run.


Jaylianie Santiago homered to right field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth for the West.


Raine Wonsey stepped in the circle first for West. The pitcher gave up two hits and two runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking four. Ashey led things off in the circle for Central. The starter gave up five hits and eight runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Mia Shaw tossed one and one-third innings of shutout ball for West in relief. The reliever surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking one.


West collected 11 hits in the game. Julieano drove the middle of the lineup, leading West with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Steele and Angelina Leone each collected two hits for West. West were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Mia Bauer made the most plays with six.

Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Coastal Victory Over Southeast

It came down to the wire on Wednesday at Field 2, as Coastal grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 9-8, over Southeast. Coastal were down 8-6 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Ivy Mattos homered to center field, scoring three runs.


Coastal rallied for the victory despite trailing 8-2 in the seventh.


Southeast got on the board in the top of the fourth inning after Stella Beaudry singled, and Southeast scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.


Coastal flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the seventh, scoring seven runs on three hits to take the lead, 9-8. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to center field by Mattos that drove in three.


Reese Taylor started the game for Coastal. The hurler allowed 12 hits and eight runs (six earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking three. Kiley Dolan stepped in the circle first for Southeast. The pitcher allowed five hits and four runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking none.


Mattos drove the middle of the lineup, leading Coastal with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Taylor led Coastal with three hits in four at bats. Coastal turned one double play in the game.


Southeast piled up 12 hits in the game. Beaudry, Sienna Powers, Dolan, and Brooke Wilson each collected two hits for Southeast. Molly Pazyra and Wilson each drove in two runs for Southeast. Wilson stole four bases. Southeast stole nine bases in the game.

Northeast Victorious Over Southeast In Bronze Medal Clash

Northeast got on the board in the first inning after Sydney Wells doubled, scoring one run.


A double by Chloe Veator extended the Northeast lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the second inning.


A double by Adriana Delaney extended the Northeast lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the third inning.


Three more Northeast runs crossed the plate in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 7-1. Olivia DiSessa tripled, scoring one run, and Britton Harding homered to left field, scoring two runs.


Stella Beaudry led things off in the circle for Southeast. The hurler gave up 13 hits and six runs (five earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking one. Mia Tringale and Caitlin LaFontaine each appeared in relief for Northeast.


Northeast accumulated 14 hits in the game. Wells led Northeast with three hits in three at bats. Harding and Delaney each drove in two runs for Northeast. DiSessa, Tringale, and Lila Areias each collected multiple hits for Northeast. DiSessa stole two bases.


Southeast accumulated nine hits in the game. Lucy Ferreira, Gabrielle Richards, and Kate Fosco each collected two hits for Southeast. Richards and Sienna Powers each drove in one run for Southeast. Southeast were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Molly Pazyra had the most chances in the field with seven.

Skyler Steele Leads West Past Coastal In Gold Medal Showdown

Skyler Steele collected four hits in four at bats, as West defeated Coastal 11-7 on Thursday at Field 1. Steele singled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.


West opened the scoring in the first after Jaylianie Santiago grounded out, scoring two runs.


West added one run in the third. Coastal committed an error, making the score 3-0.


Coastal scored six runs on five hits in the bottom of the seventh inning. Marissa Kelly grounded out, scoring two runs, Erin Gunn doubled, scoring one run, Madeleine Pineault singled, scoring one run, and Calleigh Richmond tripled, scoring two runs.


Reilly McCauley stepped in the circle first for West. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and four runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking three. Reese Taylor started in the circle for Coastal. The hurler allowed nine hits and 10 runs (six earned) over six innings, striking out two and walking two. Raine Wonsey appeared in relief for West.

WOBURN – Pat Connaughton (Basketball/Baseball), Brian Harris (Basketball/Softball Coach), and Ada Korkhin (Pistol Shooting) have been selected for induction into the 2025 Bay State Games' Hall of Fame. The inductees will receive their award at a pre-game ceremony at Fenway Park on Friday, June 27 prior to the Red Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Bay State Games Hall of Fame was created to recognize past participants who have gone on to prestigious and successful athletic careers, as well as former and current coaches, officials, sports organizers, and volunteers who have made significant contributions to the organization throughout its 38-year history. Past inductees among the over 60 previous honorees include the NBA’s Dana Barros (`06), Tom Thibodeau ('17) and the late Reggie Lewis (`02); WNBA’s Rebecca Lobo (’03), the NHL’s Bill Guerin ('09) and Keith Yandle ('14); Major League Baseball’s Carlos Pena ('11) and Rich Hill ('13); Olympians Nancy Kerrigan ('07), Jim Pedro (’04) and Bill Cleary ('14) as well as US Paralympic Gold Medalist Joe Lemar (’15). “The Hall of Fame has been a great way to recognize the many Bay State Games alumni who have gone on to prestigious athletic careers as well as those organizers and officials who have contributed to our success over the last four decades” said Kevin Cummings, the Bay State Games Executive Director. “It is an honor to recognize this year’s class that includes an NBA Champion, a US Olympic team member and a volunteer coach of over thirty years”. PAT CONNAUGHTON - BASKETBALL/BASEBALL Pat Connaughton was a two sport Bay State Games athlete in both Basketball and Baseball. In high school at St. John’s Prep, he earned the Massachusetts Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year Award. After an illustrious basketball and baseball career at the University of Notre Dame, Pat led the Irish to its only Men’s Basketball Conference Championship in the ACC. Pat was selected in the MLB draft in 2014 and NBA draft in 2015. In 2021 he became an NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks. Beyond the court, Pat is Co-Founder and CEO of real estate development company, Three Leaf Partners, headquartered in Milwaukee and he started the Pat Connaughton Foundation in 2016 based on the pillars of - courts, clinics, and character. BRIAN HARRIS - BASKETBALL / SOFTBALL COACH A lifelong resident of Somerville, Brian has volunteered as a Bay State Games coach in both girls basketball and softball for over thirty years. Brian is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Harvard Law School. He spent over three decades serving at the Somerville District Court. Brian is involved with several youth organizations and serves as board president of the Somerville YMCA. Brian has built an extraordinary coaching legacy across high school basketball and softball, amassing over 500 varsity wins and earning numerous Coach of the Year honors. ADA KORKHIN - PISTOL SHOOTING Ada Korkhin from Brookline, competed at the Bay State Games in Pistol Shooting. She also served as a Bay State Games Ambassador at Brookline High School. At the age of 14, Ada started competing internationally with trips that included events in Buenos Aires, South Korea and Egypt. She has medaled at multiple world and US events. At the age of nineteen, Ada made her Olympic debut as a member of the US Pistol Shooting team in Paris. She is currently a member of the Ohio State University shooting team where she is studying biochemistry. On May 5, Jenny Pizza was awarded the Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship at the 2025 McCormack Department of Sport Management Awards Banquet. Jenny is a freshman at UMass Amherst. She is originally from New Jersey and chose to attend UMass to pursue her passion for sports and management at the Isenberg School of Management. On campus, Jenny serves as a manager for the UMass Women's Basketball team and is active in Women in Sports Management (WISM). Her dream is work for the New York Yankees and hopes to work toward gender equality in every aspect of the sports industry. The Kristian Rose Memorial Scholarship was established by Bay State Games and UMass Amherst in memory of Kristian Rose, who was tragically killed in an auto accident during his Bay State Games internship. This scholarship is open to Sport Management students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with preference given to students with community service experience, and financial need. Bay State Games is excited to announce an expansion to their partnership with MA Army National Guard as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 Bay State Games Wrestling tournament and a supporter of many additional sports. The 2025 Bay State Summer Games Wrestling Competition Presented by Massachusetts Army National Guard will take place Saturday, July 12 at Game On in Fitchburg. Wrestling athletes who finish in the top 3 will be awarded a special custom medal unique from other BSG medals. A new 2025 Bay State Summer Games Commander's Cup Presented by MA Army National Guard trophy will be presented at the conclusion of the tournament to the top performing club. MA Army National Guard will be onsite throughout the wrestling competition, which coincides with numerous Bay State Games tournaments at Game On in Fitchburg on the same day. MA Army National Guard will be onsite at various competitions for many fun and informative activations. Events they will be present at include Trap Shooting on Saturday, May 17 at North Leominster Rod & Gun Club in Lunenburg; Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Archery on Saturday, July 12 at Game On in Fitchburg; Track & Field on Saturday, July 19 at Regis College in Weston; and Rugby on Saturday, July 26 at Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership in 2025 with the MA Army National Guard and are looking forward to the many ways they will enhance the overall athlete and spectator experience during the 2025 Bay State Summer Games,” said Bay State Games Director of Operations, Alanis Tirabassi. “Through this partnership we will be able to incorporate some new and exciting activations, promotions, and awards through many of the Bay State Summer Games events with a focal point on the 2025 Wrestling competition and the weekend at Game On in Fitchburg.” “The Massachusetts Army National Guard is proud to collaborate with the Bay State Games, united by a mission to forge toughness, build character, and elevate excellence through personal growth, physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship,” said Lieutenant Colonel Brent S. Bay State Games athletes excel on AND off the field! BSG Field Hockey athlete and current sophomore at BMC Durfee High School recently published her first novel, "In the Game." "In the Game" is a teen/young adult action/romance novel based in Paris, France. Synopsis: Colette Toussaint is no stranger to hard work. After being pulled out of a public high school in the tenth grade and thrown into a rigorous training program via her parents’ agency, Colette was forced to ditch a normal life and focus on saving the world as a spy... All at the grand age of sixteen. And now, two years later, on the cusp of adulthood, she feels like she’s finally getting the hang of things. That is, until a video call by her best friend and future heir of the company, Jean-Luc, reveals to her that she’s definitely not.
